smithkinson - your hen do sounds fabulous! :D Shame about your MOH but maybe you and she will have a mini hen 'a deux' at some stage to make up for it?

Great that your venue peeps are so excited about your wedding (except the evil AM, boo!), where is it again? x

Thanks for the kind words btw :)

Yeah it is a shame but she didn't seem to think I wanted to do anything anyway. She is going to visit a week or two after so I'll have to make her some cakes and show off my new skills ;)

We are having our reception at The Varsity - it's a chain pub but the Warwick (although it's actually in Coventry) one is their 'flagship' pub, so it's really nice in there! http://www.partyatthepub.co.uk/bars/warwick/

    Wanchai:jfor the weight loss:)

So excited about collecting our wedding rigns tomorrow:j
Still havnt managed to find any nice bridesmaid bag. Not sure what colour to get, the dress and shoes are purple so would it be 'too' purple to have a purple bag as well.

Don't think i will be getting my teeth whiten :-( Nearly had a heartache when they told me the price!

    Evening everyone!

    Its Friday evening!!:j

Well ive just ordered some lovehearts (thanks to someone posting on here) and some cupcake boxes so people can take a cupcake home if they dont want one on the evening. Ive also done a list of sweets we want, I plan on getting most of them from the wholesalers. I am very aware time is going to start whizzing round now so I need to get organised, so plan on trying to get quite a done in the next few weeks.:D

JemB- hope you have the most amazing day, let us know how it goes.

Rachel- you complete the normal passport form (with your married name details) and you get a form which needs to be signed by the registrar (or vicar I would guess if your getting married in a church) then send of off. You can do this 3 months before the wedding and the passport is valid from the date of the wedding.

Oh and I got my passport pictures done today!!:D

Wanchai- well done on the weightloss.

SKS- your hen do sounds great.

Well done Wanchai on the weight loss! :TYou've done so well. I must not be trying hard enough. I've been doing my weights and measures every week on a Friday for four months now - not lost much! I did think my trousers were a little loose yesterday, but I couldn't find my tape measure this morning, so i'll leave it til tomorrow. Tonight we splashed out on fish n chips and bubbles though - we're celebrating!

lovecake- have fun at your hair trial!

smithkinson - your hen do plans sound right up my street! Mmm cake... I'm glad your venue visit went well too.

Fiance and I have a rare weekend off together this weekend - I think it's our third this year. Hopefully we'll be able to get his togs sorted!

I know, mine cost £300, but I have been wanting to have it done for so long, my teeth were pretty yellow and it would have affected my confidence at the wedding very badly. No point spending over a grand on a dress if I'm too embarrassed to smile! :o But yes, it's terribly expensive.

Yay for your wedding rings!!! So excited for you xx

I think that a purple bag would actually be ok, it would make it less obvious that they were carryng bags iykwim. If they were contrasting, the pics might look very 'busy' with them holding bouquets as well. HTH?

Argh! Im having one of those days! Well actually im having a nice day but things keep going wrong! Ive lost a bank card and then oh managed to get us locked out!! I have however sorted out ohs cravat and hanky!!:j It was more than I would have liked to have spent, but because it had to be the right colour we couldnt risk getting it online, and we dont have to get oh shoes as he has nice brand new ones at home gathering dust so we were under budget on his outfit anyway so thats a big tick of the list!!

We have also text a few friends today who we have decided we want to upgrade to all day guests, so far one has text back to say thats brilliant, do you think I should do them a new day time invite?

Wanchai- what kind of things would you like to get and whats your budget? WHat are you doing for your hen do?

The lovehearts are for the sweetie table, I got 100 for about £6 which is very good.

I don't know what to get really :o Just something nice and not tacky. Budget is about £15.

You have had a hectic day of it! Great news about your guest upgrades, and yes, I think they'd love it if they got a new invite.
