Hey ladies,

Looks like everyone has had a pretty productive week so far! I have my hair trial tomorrow and I'm really excited, but slightly apprehensive as I don't really know what style I want and don't know if I want a veil or whatever...anyway I suppose that's what a trial is for...

Some of you have been talking about getting a new passport in your married name - I think it was Emma and Nat. How do you go about doing that?

I have just updated my sig, so excited reading it Sorry for going on about it but I had my doubts about whether I'd be able to lose any weight, so it is a huge thrill to see the numbers reducing on the scales.

For my hen do we're having a cupcake decorating workshop followed by afternoon tea I'm super excited, it sounds so nice! :j

Sadly my MoH can't make it but it was either she couldn't and everyone else could - or she could and everyone else couldn't. Darn summer and everyone being on holiday.

babyboots - there's only probably 8 coming to mine, and that's including me and is mostly family (my mum, OHs mum, OHs sister, OHs auntie and OHs grandma!). and I'm organising it myself!!

wanchai - shame about the veils. I have no idea what to do in that department either. oh and :beer: :T :beer: on the WI!

FutureCooper - I'm looking forward to you reporting back on CP! We have a 2 bed executive lodge booked for our honeymoon - one of the new style ones - with a real fire. Sooo looking forward to it.


I've been to meet with the venue today. It's all been via email so far - although we've been there MANY times to eat so we know exactly what it's like - and they were lovely. Really enthusiastic and helpful and excited to host a wedding (they do lots of parties but have never had a wedding). It was really nice. Sadly the area manager has decided we don't have enough people to have exclusive use of the pub but I'm not really bothered. They're going to rope off half of the pub for us and give us dedicated staff etc etc so it's all good! :T

smithkinson - your hen do sounds fabulous! Shame about your MOH but maybe you and she will have a mini hen 'a deux' at some stage to make up for it?
