Right I have shed all my bloatedness and water retention so here on in I can start recording proper weightloss. I managed to reach my target for today - this morning I am 10st3.5. My next target is to be 9st13.5 (just under 10st) for when I break up (I'll take the Tuesday of my final week before the Easter break) so that is 4 weeks to lose 4lbs :) easy peasy right? :rotfl:.

It is 20 weeks to our wedding :)
  • Invites finally finished, just need to print address labels and respective parents will be presented with their invites tomorrow...

Just need to work out what else I need to do...
  • Well done Natalie- your doing fab, and so is Wanchai- we can all do it!:j

Michelle :j oh finishing your invites. Its such a nice feeling when you start handing them out and people comment how nice they look. I gave my friend her evening invite but showed her the daytime ones and apparently I have inspired her to make her invites for her wedding next year!

Im having one of those days where I want to eat eat eat!

To be honest, and this is going to sound so daft - it's only a pair of bloody shoes, but I could honestly cry!! (Hormonal? Stressed at work? all the above? :D)

But it is THE shoes for THE day. You have to feel comfortable with the shoes as you will be looking at them in years to come and wishing you'd try the others. (just imo)

Some more 3mm AB diamantes should arrive tomorrow so I can up-bling my shoes to see if they are even better.

Do you stick them straight on as they are or did you use extra glue? I have brought some self adhesive purple diamante stones/bling and was going to put 'C3' on the bottom of my shoe. (Its an in joke between H2B and me).
    My food today:
Half a bowl of porridge with 1% milk
    2 clementines
Boots shapers tikka flatbread, shpers onion rings
    some baby plum tomatoes
Dinner was a gammon steak, new pots and salad
    An orange club

Your doing really well with your food intake. :A I am struggling with the snacking again and thats what makes my calorie intake sky high. I had a nice mixed pepper salad and homemade houmous with Ryvita mini's today and then ate 2  macaroons after it. Why, oh why do i do it. Its not just the dress i have to worry about getting into its a bikini on my honeymoon. (Had another peep at TripAdvisor today. More great reviews 5 out of 5, getting soooo excited now)

I WANT TO GET MARRIED NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Also forget to mention i am going to have a gel manicure tonight. Not tried it before. I didn't get on with acrylic nails i tried years ago. They kept lifting away and i spent a fortune having them touched up. This way hopefully because it is my own nail they will look more natural and the shine is supposed to last about 3 weeks. I'm trialling it to see if it will last into my honeymoon. Ssshhhh don't tell them but I am also trialling the Salon to see if they are nice staff, as the last manicure i had done elsewhere the women were really plastic and snooty and i left feeling inadequate! Not a feeling i want on my wedding day :rotfl:

    Hi,

Hope you enjoy your time at the salon & the staff are nice, the staff are amazing at the place where I go. I always have gel nails done when we go on holiday & they always last the two full weeks no problems, sometimes keep them going another couple of weeks when I get back. If I have them done for a special occasion while we are at home, I find they dont last as well as i'm doing all the normal stuff housework etc but always last when we are away:D
Married the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.

  • Melanie- let us know how your manicure went. I think I will get artifical nails because my own are pants, but my sister will want a manicure on her real nails so it will be good to know whats good.

I am such a grazer I do find cutting down on snacks the hardest, but I aim to only have healthy snacks when Im a work- and I have found having a tiny portion of the treat helps- ie a tiny slither of cake, it gets rid of the craving but wont to much damage to my weight as long as im good for the rest of the day. I too am being motivated by the thought of wearing my lovely new bikinis on honeymoon!:D

    Todays food:
Chocolate mini weetabix with 1% milk
    banana
    yoghurt drink
    clementine
soup (tomato, red pepper and lentil)
    nectarine
breaded haddock, new pots and peas
I may have a club or mr kiplings slice
I will do some fitness dvd aswell.

When I write my food down on here it looks like Ive eaten loads!

Natalie- I agree with Melanie about the shoes, you have to make sure they are the right shoes.

The problem is the right shoes don't exist!! I've spent HOURS googling silver sandal shoes. None of them are half as nice as the ones I have but they just don't seem to go. (Okay can't be sure - I don't have the dress). The bling came today - and while I think the plain clear 3mm diamantes will match better I don't think they are right. Soooo I am going to order the Rainbow Club shoes (again)... and see how I feel about them when they come again.
Its such a nice feeling when you start handing them out and people comment how nice they look.
Seeeeee that's what I'm missing by noone sending any RSVPs - noone (other than MrD's mum) has said oooo aren't they pretty!! Even the two friends who have let me know they have received them (but not RSVPd!):mad:
Do you stick them straight on as they are or did you use extra glue? I have brought some self adhesive purple diamante stones/bling and was going to put 'C3' on the bottom of my shoe. (Its an in joke between H2B and me).
The ones I have have adhesive on them so they don't need any extra - but be sure the surface you're sticking them on is clean, perhaps give them a quick wipe with a wet wipe, and also press them down properly.

Completely forgot to say the candles arrived today :D They are fab. :D I have started putting ribbon around them (in keeping with the napkin rings I've done). Really happy with them (used pins stuck in to keep the ribbon in place and tied). Will take a photo of them this weekend made up on a fake wedding table :) Cannot wait for the party!! :)

PS I've just reordered the Rainbow Club shoes. :)
  • :j at the candles coming today. I may have to look in Matalan as we need some pillar candles for indoors!

Ive only had 2 rsvps! Im hoping they start coming in soon!

:j At ordering the rainbow club shoes.
