I've just written a HUGE post but it's gone and lost it :(
No more time now so will have to remember it and write it again later. Stupid computer.

Awww that is pants Mel!! Hope you're okay x

Well I have just ordered 3mm diamantes. I have also got clear and AB clear ones coming (and enough to do them all - I will sell on whatever I don't use). I suspect the AB clear ones will be more blingy and may match the jewellery better. :D So that will give me something weddingy to do this week when they come :)

Mmm I'm now contemplating having pillar candles on each table - mainly to weight everything down ha!! Mmm.

So I have been naughty - ha!! :D I have just bought 15 3x6in white candles off Matalan - had to do it in two transactions which is a pain cause of the extra postage costs, but I did it through quidco so I get a little bit off from that. Anyway in total they cost me £28.40. I know I know!! (But I do love pillar candles better than tealights and I will use them in the house afterwards). Picture it:
4ft circular tables, with a white table cloth hanging almost to the floor, a burgundy organza runner running the full length of the table cloth (I will tack the ends to the table cloth on the day - rather than trying to sew/tack down the length of the runner). Then in the middle there will be three 3x6in white candles. (I would love to have got a big wheel pillar with 3 wicks but they were like £10 each minimum!). I *may* put some ribbon around each candle, or I may wrap them in one bundle, or I may leave ribbon off completely. I think it will be lovely around dusk and will certainly help to lighten the garden as it gets dark. :) RIGHT I really must stop buying things - argh!

    Congratulations!! :T
It is weird isn't it!! Part of the OW dive course is to take your mask off and swim so far underwater... but because I wear contact lenses it is advised I keep my eyes closed when they are exposed like that. Very odd feeling. :)
So when and where are the two of you off 'proper' rock climbing?

We probably won't be off proper rock climbing for a while, we need to suss lead climbing/belaying next - where you set your route as you climb.... that sounds a little more scary to me :o

It'll be great though when you do. It is funny how your comments echo mine about diving!! :)

    Jobs done today:
    (Other than spending ha)
I have cut 5 strips of organza to go over our table cloths. :D (There won't be as much over hang as I originally thought - never mind).
Been doing far too much housework for a Saturday. MrD is outside sorting out the shed/garden ready for the party (awww he's a sweetie), well I say getting ready - he's putting in a growing on/quarantine tank for our koi but in the process he's having to organise and plan for July :D So while he's been out there I'd feel guilty if I was sat on the internet all day (ha I know looking at my posts you'd think I had) anyway - I have done 2 loads of dishwasher, and 2 loads of clothes washing as well as general housey things.
  • Natalie- i think the candles will finish off the tables perfectly. I like pillar candles, we get through lots of candles in our house as we like watching tv with candles rather than the main lights.

Lol see I'm so frazzled from doing housework that I don't know what day of the week it is (well I do - cause I know it's school again tomorrow).

    Okay my day:
    B - usual
L - homemade cockaleekie soup (Chicken, chicken stock, leek, pearl barley)
T - steak stroganoff (steak, obviously, mushrooms, red onion, brandy, low fat creme fraiche) served with dry roasted veggies
    S - 1 hotel chocolat cho
E - 30 mins of very sweaty Tracy Anderson dancey-prancey DVD
