Evening all, did the second session of climbing today and we both passed the assessment so are able to climb without an instructor

One of the last things I did on the wall today was to climb with my eyes closed, it was really weird, but I managed to climb to the top of the wall!

I haven't been on here in ages!We had some sad news this week - a death in OH's family so I haven't really felt like chatting

I'll have to catch up on everything that's been going on here - you girls are so chatty!

Nat - your jewellery looks fab! What is your presentation box like? I was thinking of getting one too - I agree the GS boxes look like mini undie boxes!:rotfl:You have inspired me to take some pics of my jewellery so I'll post them on here in a bit.

I had my make-up trial today and it went really well so I'm glad I gave her another chance after my rant last week

It is weird isn't it!! Part of the OW dive course is to take your mask off and swim so far underwater... but because I wear contact lenses it is advised I keep my eyes closed when they are exposed like that. Very odd feeling.
So when and where are the two of you off 'proper' rock climbing?

The box I've gone for is a watch presentation style box so a long thin rectangle, I was tempted to go for a choker style square box but they would have been more expensive. It is red (my favourite colour) with a black 'insert'. Will let you know what the quality is like when I get it.

I have had a bit of a hair play. Put in my clips how I imagine they will go in, I will need my mum's help on the day to make sure the four of them are sat in a nice line across my head and that they are equally spaced out. Am happy with it - and I think MrD was - although all I got was his general grunt at anything to do with his opinion on anything weddingy :rotlf:.

I also asked him for his opinion on my shoes - I currently have one shoe sat on a table (I know I know) with the necklace draped over it trying to make my mind up whether they go together. I'll take a photo of them tomorrow and ask you guys for your honest thoughts. If I change my mind (again) and go for the Rainbow Club one I'm worried this whole thing is getting more and more traditional than either of us first thought it would be!! I wasn't even going to have a proper wedding dress!! :eek: Scary!!

Well im stuffed and back from frankie and Bennys. Food today:
Yoghurt drink
Bag of roast beef monster munch
a few mouthfuls of ohs bacon baguette
Frankie and Bennys dinner was a bbq steak wrap (I only had half the wrap and pull the steal out the second half) with a jacket potato and a bit of coleslaw and about half a banana cheesecake and a large rose spritzer!! (im so going to have a gain this week), but i did have a lovely evening catching up with the girlies!

Morning!!

Well I have just placed an order for next Saturday for the rest of my alcohol/fizzy drinks!! Very happy with it indeed. I originally budgeted £450 for it all, and it'll come to £378.51. (I have actually saved £168.30 by making the most of offers etc). :T and all this will provide 412 alcoholic servings and 508 non-alcoholic servings. Very pleased with that. It's roughly 17 drinks per person - which is definitely OTT but I would rather that than run dry

I have also written a cheque for our outstanding balance of the photographer so I can get that posted on pay day (Wednesday).

So that is two more jobs ticked off

Right - honest thoughts:
Looking at these photos I think they go together well... but in real life in bright sunshine the bracelet etc are really sparkly the bling on the shoes aren't because of the size.




Do I need to replace the smaller diamantes on my shoes with larger ones to go with the bracelet better? I *think* I might by a sheet just to see.

Natalie- youve done really well on your saving the drinks.

Natalie- I think I would try it with the bigger ones and see how it looks, although it depends how much bigger because I think they currently look just right- they are big enough to see but arent big enough to distract from the detail on your dress or jewellery.. Think is there will be such a distance apart that I dont think the difference would be so noticeable as it is with them next to each other.
