Thanks!! I love the sparkles off the necklace on the bottom picture!! I am convinced they will go well with my dress... but I'm not so sure they will go with my shoes... (haven't actually checked). Which makes me panic (again) about my shoes - aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!! I NEED my dress to be ready!! Just so I can try it on with my shoes - then I can stop panicking!

I hope you get your Best Man stuff sorted soon xx

I have spent the day reading (and finishing) a book. I did do some housework - yawn!
  • We are going to give the house a good tidy tomorrow, I managed to convince oh to leave it today!:D

Well almost all my ohs friends have replied with their addresses so I can get their invites sent out! I did laugh though because 4 of them replied with their addresses and saying like 'oh we cant wait' but one must have been drunk and gave me a sarcastic answer saying he didnt want to come! He has since replied with his address and a status about he shouldnt go on facebook when hes drunk!!

Get your shoes out now and see how it looks against the jewellery.

I still haven't had an RSVP :( My friend said she only got hers today. I'm like I know you're coming (she has booked a hotel already) but an RSVP would still be nice!!

I'll get my shoes out later - watching US biggest loser :)

I have just emailed the bridal shop to see if there is any news.
  • I have 2 rsvp cards returned! -the person who emailed me also sent the rsvp in the post, and he said they are all looking forward to it, especially their daughter (I think shes 8) as its her first wedding! I feel very honoured our wedding is her first!:D

Oh fingers crossed they will reply soon. I just emailed a bridal shop just 2 mins away from us asking for a price list for suit hire, just so we can compare as it seems to vary quite a bit.

What sort of outfit is he after do you know? Tails? Or normal jacket? Waistcoat and cravat or shirt and tie? Reason I ask is because I noticed Greenwoods had a suit (nice medium grey colour) in the window for £69 - normal jacket and trousers. But I guess if he wants the works it'd definitely be cheaper to hire. :) I'm pleased that MrD can wear his suit for my brother's wedding! :)
  • I want him in a normal suit, he wants something a bit more! Im going to speak with my step dad before they go shopping-he wears a suit everyday for work so he will know the best places to go and will give his opinion on, from what oh likes, whether to buy or hire.

Oh I forgot the main reason, and most excitng part to why we went into town- honeymoon is all paid off!!:j:j:j

Lol - mine was like that as well! I wanted him in a nice grey suit with an open necked shirt that matched the wedding colours - no tie. But oh no, he has to go for tails. Plonker.

Yay for paying the honeymoon off!

I bought my jewellery today in Debenhams - wasn't planning to but they had a wedding special event thing on and there was 20% off the jewellery. I looked at the pearl one but it looked a bit cheap because the pearls were a bit fake looking, and plus I liked the sparkles on the other one! So I got £37 worth of jewellery for 15.60 because of the money off and the vouchers.

I've also just about chosen the hymns we are having, going to get my grandad to cast an eye over them tomorrow because he knows more about them that I do (is it bad to admit that they all sound the same to me :o).

And I will be giving out my first three invitations tonight - just written them out and put them in the envelopes to take, that'll save a pound on postage :rotfl:

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Awwww fab that you have your jewellery sorted.

You know what - I *think* my shoes go - will have to get MrD to check when he gets in... the only thing that could possibly be better is if I'd used 4mm instead of 2mm diamantes... will get his opinion when he gets back - the diamantes I put on the other weekend *may* be coming off ha!!
