I just hate it though especially now I've managed to mostly clear it up - its a horrible feeling having worse skin than most of the teenagers in my classes!
Oh god I know exactly what you mean!! Perhaps as it's MAC that causes the problems you could go to them (even give them a call/email) and outline the problem, tell them the product of theirs causes outbreaks and see what they suggest.0 -

Yeah I could do, tbf though it's not JUST them it's all sorts of things! Might not be a bad idea though, they might have something specifically designed to be non-acnegenic.
Do you have any 'wonder products' that you know work well? I never would have contemplated using an oil based cleanser before I tried Lush's Ultrabland but it's worked wonders and my skin doesn't get as greasy as it used to throughout the day.

I really like Olay's magic 'heats up when you add water' exfoliator - lol sorry that is rubbish I can't remember the name of it - let me go look... Regenerist cleansers - daily thermal skin polisher. But really the best thing I've found for my acne is to stop my periods with the pill (and implant), and antibiotics to help heal any that do appear quicker. I am a rubbish girl though - I go through stages of being really good and swearing I won't leave the house without looking my best to not giving two hoots. I actually suffer from really dry flaky skin on my forehead and the apple of my cheeks.0

Oh that sounds nice! Might have to give it a try, sounds really luxurious!
I'm on the pill and I've got some of that 'duac' cream that helped when it was really bad, it can cause problems if you use it too much though so I haven't used it in a while, since my skin cleared up a bit.
I'm terrible though - I can't leave the house without makeup. I'm quite quick at doing it though so it's not too annoying!

Firstly- I have to confess to being naughty today and ate a jam doughnut!! I woke up today and just felt grumpy and miserable and said to my oh that I was really craving naughty sweet things and was close to having a binge! I know ive still been having the odd treat but its mostly been savoury treats and I have a very sweet chocolate and cake tooth!! So when we went shopping we picked up a bag of 2 doughnuts and it was soooo nice (Im not even usually a doughnut eater but they smelt so good I really wanted one!!). I never did have my half a stone treat so that was that!!:D
Imgoing to be good for the rest of the weekend!
Ive done invites for everyone, ohs mum was suprised when we gave her one, but really liked it. When I was bridesmaid for my friend she never gave me an invite and I was a little bit disappointed so have made sure everyone does have one.
:T At being back to red Natalie. and :j at booking in your married name! Oh and shoes sound fab.
I cant give any advice on skin as Im terrible and dont look after mine, I really should start but im so lazy!0 -
Climbing was fun, and I managed a little bit of bouldering as well today!
Final session next Saturday, if we pass the assessment it means we can belay each other without supervision... here's to me getting fit. Only thing I'm not liking is the callous' on my hands. There looks like there's a climbing wall on the Isle of Wight, so may throw the kit in if I get some prices and do some whilst we're down there.
Booked holiday/honeymoon accommodation. We're going down the Saturday before the wedding, to have a bit of a break then the following week will be honeymoon. The cottage we're renting looks lovely.
Anyways, really tired now - must be the exercise0 -
So come on then - what is 'bouldering'?? (It could sound very rude!!)
Awww that sounds lovely! Part of me is wishing I could have time off with MrD before the wedding... not to organise or prepare but just to spend time together... actually I must try to organise something in the run up that is just about us - I wonder where I could get us booked in (bearing in mind it's during term time, and I'm doing my 'hen' thing the Saturday before.)You've got me thinking Michelle!

Bouldering is climbing at a lower height, practicing techniques and you're not attached. So not too rude. When we were in the 'pit' you don't necessarily come straight down the wall, more like hanging out slightly... and H2B's bum came flying towards my face.... as much as I love him, I did not need his bum in my face hehe
Funny thing is, my mother, sister and niece will be on the island for that first week too, but we won't necessarily be spending time with them though. Even though my niece is really cute, she'll only be 7 months at that stage so won't be able to do the crazy things my parents used to do with me when we used to go to the island - I'm an islander, mum and dad were down there for a rally stage, dad was a amateur rally driver until I arrived, and mum was heavily pregnant with me at the time.... out I popped about two weeks early! But I've always lived in Bucks.... I couldn't be further from the sea in this county!0 -
Quick question:
You know im doing the camera activity to keep the kids quiet for a while do you think I should
1)give them all the same list
2) give them a different list according to their ages
3) give the 5 younger kids a list all the same and let the 3 older ones take photos of what they want
4)something else (if so what?!!)
:rotfl: Michelle at having your ohs bum on face!!0 -
I would give them different lists depending on age group, as think it would be more fun for the children.
To keep kids entertained at our wedding they are getting gift bags instead of favours with toys in, like cars and colouring books.0
