Hey everyone! Its the weekend:j
I have had a nice day today, went to the range, and got a couple of wedding bits, I got a white arrow shaped sign saying wedding (which I love, but oh didnt look convinced!!) and a large glass round vase/ bowl to finish off my sweetie table (again oh didnt look convinced as he said it had a sharp edge!!), whatever!!:rotfl:
:j I have my first rsvp aswell!! My oldest sister completed it straight away!!:D
Melanie- love the headband, definately worth getting and seeing what you can do with it.
Natalie- fingers crossed there will be a code soon as they will look fab with your dress.
Mel- your doing so well with all the exercise.
Michelle- love the part about the passport, very appropriate for the iow.:D0 -
Have had a really bad day today so just need to rant for a minute.
First of all my oven started making funny noises today and am unable to get hold of the letting agent so no oven for us until at least Monday. Its the last thing I need with the baby able to make an appearance at any time.
Secondly, I just found out from my Mum that their is an error on our invitations. Its not a big one just in the R.S.V.P section they have missed the P out of Southampton and my Aunt mentioned it to my Mum. I am really upset about this but everyone else just doesn't seem to care and dont think anyone will notice. But I know that two people already have. Feel like sitting here an crying at the moment0 -
Oh Tracey, sending you a hug, doesnt seem like your having a very good day. Thats rubbish about the letting agents, you would think they would be contactable tomorrow. When you speak to them make sure you tell them your about to pop and need it sorted and dont need the stress.0

((hugs)) Tracey!! I absolutely agree with Emma - try giving the letting agency a call tomorrow and stress to them the urgency of the situation xx And bless you getting upset over the 'p', I would be exactly the same!! BUT you have to remember in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter. The RSVPs will still get to you, you will still get married, you will still live happily ever after regardless. I do think your Aunt needs a good slap thoughI mean what person lets the bride know there is a mistake!
xx
Well I've given MrD's family side of invites to his mum - she opened hers straight away(She has seen them before but bless her she was all oooing and aaaahing over it - and after she'd read it she made me retie the ribbon bow!
) I did tell her she has to officially RSVP :rotfl:

:T back to red!!
Love it!! Sooooo much more me
I could have hugged my hair dresser!!
Although cost a bleeding fortune!
Anyway - I have decided:
* I need to moisturise my hands
* I need to sort out my hard skin/cracked heels
* I need to get into a facial skin care routine.
So I also went shopping in boots while I was in town and come away with lots of lotions and potions. I have 5 months to turn myself into a butterfly :rotfl:
Also I was thinking as I was driving home.... I think I may wear a shade of red/burgundy nail varnish instead of the french polish I was planning - that way my red hair will be tied in more
AAAAAND my vajazzle diamante bits have come so I can finish off my shoes :T
Hope you're all having a lovely Saturday!!
Just think... there is only 2 more school holidays between now and our weddings :T0 -

I like it in the Range, could spend hours in there with all the art equipment! Stuff sounds good.Have had a really bad day today so just need to rant for a minute.

Get on the phone and have a nag at someone about the cooker - try and get a man so you can put on a 'poor pregnant me' thing!
Did you get the invitations made professionally or did you do your own? If you had them done for you, check whether it was your mistake or theirs and if it was theirs try and get some money back. It won't change the fact that the invites have gone out, but to be honest most people will be so happy to be invited they won't notice the spelling, and if they do they will assume it's the printers fault anyway. And if you get some cash back on them you can at least feel smug about that!:T back to red!!Love it!! Sooooo much more me

Yay for red hairI hadn't thought about what to do with my nails, aargh...
I am torn between trying to get my skin sorted out and jst keeping it as it is. Since I have switched to the lush stuff it's cleared up no end from what it was before (you may remember me stressing about my acne - the improvement is HUGE) but I still have a few blemishes and uneven patches from scarring. Ideally I'd like to try out some foundations/moisturisers but I don't want to upset my skin again! That reminds me, I need to pick up a white V neck teeshirt so I can practice doing my make-up and then getting photographed with it to make sure it doesn't look odd against the white. I don't often wear light colours so have no idea how will affect my skin tone.
I have been good again today - slice of toast and marmite for breakfast and just got in from a 6 mile walk. (in the rain) I did have chips for lunch on the way back but we shared a small portion (and the walk did burn off about 450 calories!). Having fajitas tonight.
Have you all given invitations to people like parents/bridesmaids/grandparents? I just assumed that they didn't need them because they know they'll be coming... is that stupid of me!?

I did give invites to parents/grandparents/etc (and I would have done to bridesmaids) just so they can see the stationery and join in with the oooing and aaahing really. Although like I said I am demanding an RSVP off them as well!
... Well you never know!
My advice Mel would be to go to a proper place like a mac counter/store and ask for their advice. Not necessarily to get them to plaster your face in stuff, but just to chat about your skin and hear whether they have anything they'd recommend. I do think though if you want to do something like this then to do it sooner rather than later because if your skin is anything like mine (I'm still taking antibiotics and the pill for my acne) then a change in skin care routine may cause a break out but once it gets used to it it'll clear.
Well done on the being 'good'... I'm going to be good from Monday!! :rotfl:0 -
Hey. Thanks for all the support guys. Am feeling better about the invites today. As you said must people won't notice anyway. I got them done prof and it was their mistake so have emailed them about my displeasure. I will try to get a picture up but for some reason will not let me copy the picture from my file and paste it on here. I gave one to all my wedding party as most of them want to keep them.
I have managed to get hold of the letting agency after almost 24 hours. Am now waiting for their electrician to contact me (no idea how long that is going to take). The letting agent did say they put it down as urgent.0 -
Fingers crossed you aren't waiting too long! x
Re: Photos - you need to upload them first onto somewhere like FlickR/Photobucket and then copy and paste the image codes into hereIf you want more detailed instructions I'm sure there are some elsewhere (I think I've written them somewhere) that we could find.
Well 710 2mm diamantes later and my shoes are all blinged up - I do love them!Cannot wait to wear them properly!! :T And I have spare diamantes should any fall off between now and then
Ooo while I was at my hair dressers she booked me in for my colour after our honeymoon and before my brother's wedding - :T She put me down under my married name0 -

Do you think I could just give them one of the invites and they can write it themselveslazy
Glad you got hold of the letting agents, hopefully they will pull their fingers out.
I have tried MAC before - used to wear it regularly before my skin went all wierd! The same foundation that I used to wear day in day out now breaks me out within 2 days of usingI must say I've not tried persevering with it though in the hope that it'll clear, maybe I could try that. I just hate it though especially now I've managed to mostly clear it up - its a horrible feeling having worse skin than most of the teenagers in my classes!
I probably should just stick with what I know - the Vichy Dermablend foundation is amazing and so light - but I love products! I think being a beauty junkie is what caused me problems in the first place lol!
