The purple is just the colour of my card and the wording is a rubber stamp i brought and i have used a brown ink to literally 'stamp' the wording on. It is on the back of the invites and i am planning on stamping my favour bags which will be pegged to a willow wish tree.

After all my foodie treats and naughties this week i have managed to lose a whole three quarters of a pound :T i can only put it down to all my spring cleaning and house cleansing!

Shopping with my bestie today and probably lunch and cake too. I am hoping to find something suitable to adapt to a hairclip that i need. I am thinking of using a brooch or necklace and glueing it to a clip.

I spotted this yesterday in cream in Tesco. This is the sort of thing i thought i could unpick from the band and glue on to the hairclip i need to use. The other idea i have is to use the flowers on shoeclips (that i have got from Ebay) and put them on the plain flattie shoes my BM is going to wear. At 5 foot 10 there is no way i am letting her wear heels against my 5 foot 7.

Hi everyone!

Well I have just got back from the gym so feeling very virtuous at the moment! Won't be joining the sporty couples gang though Nat, I am a season ticket holder at Leicester City and thats as close as I'll get to doing a 'real' sport! I'm just not competitive enough for sport and people hate playing with me because I don't care enough!

I have also posted my job application, eek! :eek:

The gifts thing is hard, I really don't know what to do about it. For us, we are living with my parents and we have a whole storage unit full of STUFF which is costing us about £60 a month to store. Because we've lived together we have everything we need - we are just lacking in a house to put it all in! So money is the main thing that we need (unless Rightmove start doing vouchers), but it feels so rude asking for it. I honestly never thought we'd be starting married life living with my parents

Fab idea about unpicking it and using it for something else and for £4 you can't really go wrong!!

I have decided this morning how I will have my hair :T and I will be buying two sets of the hair clips I posted earlier - just waiting for a GS code to come about (Hair is going to be down, at the crown of my head I will back comb my hair slightly so it has more 'weddingy' volume, then I will take the front section and use the clips to tie it back away from my face but leaving 2 tendrils of hair each side. So it's kinda down which is how I normally wear it, but done differently to how I usually wear it. Cannot wait to get my hair dyed red tomorrow - almost wish I already had the GS hair slides so I could have a play tomorrow.

(Ha starting to get grumpy - I haven't had a single email from anyone about how great my invites are - I guess they haven't got them yet!)

Oh and I didn't say - have had a lovely day with my CBMIIWHO - I told her about my secret wish for someone to get us a toaster as a wedding gift - explained that no we don't need one - the one we have is actually very good, but it's not a wedding without a toaster. It did make her giggle - but as she's been told the secret I did warn her she's not allowed to buy us one as it just wouldn't be the same :rotfl:
