WOW!!! It's been a very long time since I've been on here!!!
I'm getting married 6 months today
I've had a quick read through some of the threads to catch up but over 200 pages is slightly long!!
Well, since I've been on last I've lost almost a stone and a half! Woohoo!!! Need to lose the same weight again though (and a little more!!). I don't think I've done all that much more with the wedding to be honest.......things really quietened down but need to get backside into gear now and get going with things again!!! Still nowhere near finishing invitations!!! Just in the process of sorting out my hen.......so exciting!!!

Well I had a sneak on the scales today and im still doing well- I have had the odd blip but I need the odd treat or I end up craving it and scoffing my face!:D Im really hoping i can keep it up!
I think im going to try and finish my invites tomorrow (apart the 4 I need to remember to take into work to cut the inserts down), that way I can get them all ready for posting.

I've decided on a videographer (I think). Nothing else done weddingwise but I have been idling on Pinterest and wedding blogs rather a lot, ho hum! :rotfl: Where has my 'get up and go' gone????

Wanchai- do you have an i phone or android phone? If so have a look at the fitness pal app, I dont follow it strictly but have been using it as a guide -if I really want to go over then I will, but I have found I do feel bad if i think about having something that would put me massively over on my calories so generally go for a different alternative. You can also put your exercise on and so it will credit you with the calories you have burnt off. I make sure I eat close to the daily allowance of cals it suggests, as I dont want to go only having say 800 cals a day as I know I wont maintain the weight loss if I then eat the odd treat.
I know everyone finds different things work for them but so far this has been helping me and its free so could be worth at least trying.0 -

I'd second the myfitnesspal app wanchai, I've been using it aswell and after my official weigh in this morning have lost 10lbs in January! It's very motivational. Well done on doing well Emma :T And well done also Rachel :j
Having said that, I am going for beer and pizza at a friends house in a bit. I felt bad for a while that I might undo all my good work, but then I thought... thin people don't eat salads and stuff ALL the time - they must have a beer and pizza night every so often - it's just that the rest of the time they eat properly, unlike my 'old' self eating rubbish all the time. So that's exactly what I'm going to do - I'm going to stuff my face with pizza tonight, and get drunk, and then tomorrow I will have a healthy breakfast, go for a swim as planned, and get straight back on it. :A
The only thing remotely wedding I have done here is go to the hair salon - I've decided on my colour combo how I want it for the wedding :rotfl: what a randomly stupid thing to have figured out! I'm going to have my highlights redone in April so they have time to fade down a bit before July, and then I'm going to have my usual colour with a few darker sections blended through to give it a bit of a textured effect. I've got it like it at the moment and am really liking the overall look, so me and the hairdresser have planned it all out as to what I need to have done and when! Plus I've checked the booking for the morning of the wedding which is all definitely sorted.
I really ought to start writing out some invites ready to post in February, but you know how there's always one job you really don't want to do.... yeah.
Right just off to get ready now - I am walking to my mates house which is about half hour so that's a few calories burnt! Extra garlic bread it is then

Its very good wanchai. I do find it a bit of a pain when I make something homemade with loads of ingredients but overall its very easy to use, you can manually out things in or if it has a barcode you can scan it and see if it picks it up.
Mel- youve done fab with loosing weight. And I think a treat night is well deserved.
Im currently looking for some baby pink butterflies to go on my table numbers and place names. My other option is to use my butterfly puncher and buy some baby pink card and cut and stick it on the inside of the table numbers and place cards so it shows through as pink butterflies. Oh decisions decisions!!0
