Will have a look and compare it to my list later Emma (probably at the weekend if you repost it/remind me). Nearly bed time - am on a promise...

    ... of a massage after tonight's run! :D

... :( lol ooops a Dominos chicken combo, pepperoni passion pizza and some cookies have fallen into my mouth tonight. :rotfl: Still at least I went for a run right? lol!

OOOOOO and before I forget. (I'm writing this before I've completed my list).
:) I'm going on a little unofficial hen do weekend with some of the girlies from work. They are organising a random weekend away at my local spa hotel, and I wasn't planning on going to it cause it's £198 for the weekend - 4 meals included, and 90 mins treatment. And with the wedding, MrD's bike racing, diving, and tidying the house up ready for the party we just don't have that sort of money spare. Anyway was chatting to MrD last night and he said I should go and he is thinking of not racing until after the wedding :T I am very excited!!

Rachel - shame that you don't like your job and feel like your wage is crap too. :( Does it have any benefits - like school holidays? These have definitely helped me in the past!! (5 weeks 2 days till Feb half term ha!)

Nope, no benefits at all - just the usual private sector holidays, no pension. no bonus, no perks at all really. But I'm not going to dwell on it - I just need to get my bum in gear and find something better.

That's a heck of a to do list! V. Organised! :) I should do one of those...

Right, I'd better get to work - I might pop back in at lunch time :)
  • Natalie - your list has scared me!!!!! I have nothing so comprehensive at all. I thought i was clever putting together a spreadsheet of monies budgeted, deposits paid and the final dates for remainding payments and the cash required on the actual day.

Better get myself a list. I'm all for writing lists and have different notebooks for allsorts and i have a beautiful wedding planner that i take when i go wedding shopping as i have swatches in it etc.

I have used my work printer today (cheeky!) and re printed my day invitations as we have changed the wording now that we have booked a bus to take our guests to the Register Office. It reads:
    Melanie*** and Ian ***
request the please of your company
to celebrate their marriage on Friday 27th July 2012
    at The **** ****** House Hotel, T****
Please arrive at 1.50pm for transport to
St**** Register Office for the ceremony

RSVP by 27th June 2012 - address etc

I have had to have a black ink this time round as we don't have coloured printers at work. . . . imo the coloured ink looks nicer but i can't spend anymore on them! I shall print the menu choices in coloured ink as i only need 18 A4 sheets of those. I have also designed those today. I just need to source a similar paper colour as the card inserts now, then i can start putting it all together. :T

Fab news Melanie - it's good to get things done and ticked off.

Lol yes my list is a bit of a beast - but EVERYTHING is written on it so I know nothing will be forgotten. I dread waking up the day after and say finding all the paper hearts I've made and realising I'd forgotten to hang them up on the day!! :D Just call me Miss Organised lol. I'm the same at work - super organised - everything on a list. But everything else at home is chaos lol. I tell MrD I'm like one of these children who can keep everything together at school but then because it's so hard doing that the moment they get home they relax and let rip. I'm the same - I go into organise overload at work so by the time I get home I'm so drained everything goes to pot. lol. I do love my wedding planning list though - and it's so satisfying to know I can tick so many things off lol. It is all split up into months, and then closer to the wedding days.

Well my buttonholes are all done. Will take photos at the weekend to show you - hopefully will have some good lighting then!! (I was looking this morning at my photo of the Mr and Mrs spoon and fork - I either need to lighten it in editing software - or I need to reshoot it cause it's really dull compared to the rest of the photos I've taken... lol but then again on the day it may not be a bright sunny summer day lol. (God I sincerely hope it is and it doesn't rain!!)
  • I like to have a list to give me some guidance but I dont like being too organised- cos then I start flapping and faffing when things dont go right!!:D

What are you all doing the night before the wedding? where are you staying? Im hoping oh can stay at his mums so I can stay at our house with my 2 bridesmaids, get a take away and just chill, then will head round my mums in the morning.
