Natalie - I like, though I'd best not go suggesting it to the H2B as he's quite a fan of Rocky Horror!0

The above is link for Wanchai - I think when i do it i'll use more lavender.
Laura - 11 days, where has the time gone?! It'll fly by especially with Xmas and the wedding.
Gorgeous photos!!! Love all the buttonsPinkPrincess83 wrote: »Deposit for chair covers have been paid! And its a mum and daughter company and they were so friendly and nice. Tracey- I am the only wedding booked in on the 28th, so they would be able to do yours aswell, they did say they would have to charge for petrol as it would be trips but ill inbox you. (I will message you on facebook aswell incase you dont spot this anytime soon).
LauraL- not long at all to go.
Michelle- good luck in picking your flowergirl dress.
Wanchai- well what can I say!!:rotfl:. If its only price thats putting you off, but you could stretch I reckon go for it! I personally couldnt spend that on a dress, but mainly because I actually wouldnt have the money, but if nothing else if going to compare then go for it!!
Yay about your chair cover deposit, that's another thing ticked off!
I do sometimes think 'OMG £1,300!' but nothing else even remotely compares to this dress, so I may have to just suck it upWhere as I could. Not because I have the money - I don't - but if it was THE one then I would make things stretch and other things would have to be compromised on. (And really at £825 my dress isn't all that far off lol).
Nice try pet, but £475 is quite a bit off! :rotfl: But thanks for attempting to make me feel better
I spoke to OH about the dress (as we are both paying for it - is this usual?) - he went a bit green about the gills when I mentioned the price but said that if I love it I should buy it... think he is just relieved that I have found one at last! :rotfl:7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Sounds like a good man there Wanchai
Thats what my hubby said - they want us to be happy on the day, and understand that the dress is a MASSIVE part of this

Lol it's not that far off Wanchai!! Especially if it's THE ONE.
:T I have some wedding news to update you all on!!
1) Been to Lakeland and bought myself a 20cm square cake tin with a loose base - so I can make 25 5cm square cheesecakes3 loads and I'll have enough to fill the cake stand - it was £11 summink.
And I'll be using it on Christmas Eve for my first trial run.
2) I popped into a bridal shop in Lincoln today to look at the else chianti shoes. They were 'nice'. They weren't 'wow'. Just 'nice'. But they were a definite ivory colour whereas my memory of my dress is a lot paler ivory - almost white (even though it's not the white version). So I'm back to square one. If I can get a sample of fabric off my dress (bearing in mind it is being made the correct length so I won't have huge amount of fabric being choppedoff) then I may take that back to double check.
3) I had my hair cut and dyed today - I went for brown because I wanted to test how I felt about it and to try to decide how I want my hair for the wedding. Well I feel really plain and boring. SOOOOO I think I've decided it wants to be red red redI don't feel noticable. And I didn't want to jump up and down and clap my hands - so red hair here I come lol.
I'm really pleased I've at least made a decision!!

Definitely get a sample of fabric from your dress to check against the shoes. How much are they btw?

These are the ones I fancy - not in love with them or owt, I'd rather something more quirky - but they were the most comfy in any of the shops I've been in, so I took note of the name!
