Hello all
I'm going to the fabric store tomorrow to see what I would like for my dress, can't wait to have a good rummage through all their lovely lace and silk!!!!
I've also been thinking about invites and would love something like these:FutureCooper wrote: »The other dress is the meringue that I pm'd a pic to you. That is the dress that i am going to have all the tulle netting removed and made into a shorter tea length. Then use the tulle to have a bolero made to match.
I only brought the first dress because it fitted so well and it was all over the web as the dress to have if your a fatty! So at just £115 i brought it. My best friend is marrying in June and is having a summer ball theme so ladies have to wear long gowns . . . . my plan is to have the dress dyed so i can wear it there.
Oh yes, I remember that dress - lol at your description!!! They are both fab - which will you wear at your wedding if you fit into both?hey, today I have been going over my wedding budget to see if I can find anything to do, which I can't until the new year. Oh well
I break up from uni tom at 11am. Don't go back to uni until 23rd Jan for exam and 30th Jan for lectures. Also just this weekend of work left as well
Today I had an emotional conversation with my partner. We were watching a show where the guy had to choose between his wife and full term baby, and me and my partner had THE discussion, and disagreed on what we wanted. I chose the baby he chose me. At least it shows how much he loves me. Sorry just realised this might be a morbid post.
Aw, that is actually the hardest choice anyone would ever have to make. I imagine that most women would choose the baby and most men would choose their OH.LauraL lol how lucky are you - escaping an OFSTED!
Tracey - cor what a conversation!I think it's nice that he would choose you. Like you said - it shoes how much he loves you.
Morning everyone!
I have lost 1.5lbs this week. Woo hoo :T:j.
This week coming I've got lots of meals out: Today's lunch - out with my team (will have a panini I think). Monday's lunch - work's Christmas do (am having garlic mushrooms for starter and turkey for main - no pudding). Tuesday tea - meal out with my mum & brother (no idea what I'll have then). So I will have to be super good for the rest of the time to try to stay the same!!
So I have 13lbs left to lose (to take me to 8st13.5).
Wowee, well done you!!!!!!! :j You have a challenging week ahead but I know you can handle it! :T:T:T
I have been so damn good this week. Been to the gym 3 times, and have eaten almost like a saint. :A I even had my work do yesterday and only ate a small amount! OK, I had some wine, but not too much!Pleeeeease let me have lost weight!!!!! I might WI tomorrow morning as I can't wait until Monday.

Oh I love the top invite wanchai!!
Well lunch was good - had a prawn & ham salad - the prawns were in a marie rose sauce, and the salad had a delicious dollop of coleslaw on. But I didn't have any bread/potatoes so all in all I think it was good.
BUT lol. It was a tea room - so obviously they had delicious looking cakes so I have bought a slice for pudding at tea time. I am being good - I got a piece that I'd normally have on my own but asked them to cut it in two and I will share it with MrD.So that part isn't very healthy lol.
I think this week I will aim for a Stay The Same.
Although I have been REALLY good - I've abstained from all choccies/biccies in the office.(And I didn't have a fizzy drink with my lunch which I normally would have done which would have made me feel bloated).
Anyway one of my team bought me a lovely Bunny calendar for 2012. Lol I opened it up when I got home, and it felt SOOOOOO good to write our wedding, reception/party, and honeymoon dates onCan you believe 2012 is nearly here!? It's nearly *our* year girlies!! :T

You did pretty well at lunch! :T Aiming for a STS is good and realistic, then if you lose any weight you will be extra chuffed! :T What type of cake did you have? I've just had a pack of raspberries which were lovely but I would LOVE something sweet and fattening(mustn't, mustn't) so will live vicariously through you and your cake!
OMG it's nearly 2012!! I'm only engaged since July so haven't had as looong a wait, I quite like the big buildup!
Yes, the invites are fab. I want something vintagey looking all tied up with twine, must get a mood board going!!! :A
I applied to join pinterest and haven't had my invitation yet! I'll go off the whole idea if they don't hurry up and let me join - seems a bit 'snooty'...7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Thanks Wanchai- its just so annoying when you have all these good intentions and then come down ill so they go out the window!! Im hoping to make it to the gym over the weekend- but only if I feel better, Im not risking draining myself again, just as my energy levels start to get back to normal!!
Bet you looking looking forward to material shopping tomorrow- are you buying or just looking??0 -

And so following the last 6 weeks tradition here's my list of jobs to do this weekend:
* Run round and tidy/clean the house (all lived in rooms are now officially spring cleaned)
* Clean the inside of the windows (I know!! Get me!)
* Create some 'Danish Christmas Hearts' (paper woven heart shaped baskets that you put sweets in and hang them on your tree) to sell at our Charity Christmas bash.
And that's it!!
Then I'm all ready for Christmas in every way... well apart from the food but that is being delivered on Wednesday.0
