Wow Tracey!! That's some growing!! Lol I hope he doesn't grow any more
)
Lol Wanchai - I'm a teacher - I spend my whole life wishing away my life - counting down to the next holiday lol. It keeps me sane :rotfl:0 -
Woo hoo another 20 bottles of beer bought for the wedding
(Peroni £10 for a pack of 10 - another of MrD's favourite beers). Only 98 more bottles to get (from a mixture)

Grrr- i just wrote out a post then lost it!
Tracey- I will ask when I pop my deposit in on Monday. how many covers would you need and what time would you need them set up? (I reckon they would travel as it isnt far, but it would just depend how many you need and what else they have booked in, if they just have mine booked in that I reckon as its only 45 chairs they would be able to do yours aswell- you are getting married 28th arent you??)
Wanchai-:eek: I know! When we go engaged we said we would get married in 2009 but then getting our house put the wedding back a bit, and getting a house took priority, it want meant to be such a long engagement!!:rotfl:0 -
I am getting married the 28th. We are prob going to have approx 100 people (i know large party). The wedding is not until 3pm so not sure what time they need to set up. They have advised it might be set up the night before or the morning of0

It's funny, I would actually like a longer engagement! A year seems so short - all the fun of organising is packed into a very small timeframe...
MrsDrink - yay for your beer bargains!!! :beer:
tfutcher - try to set up the day before if poss, would hate to be running around on the day doing it!
I'm meeting the dressmaker tonight whoooop! Really going to have to make a decision soon.
Also bought my BM the most gorgeous thank you card on eBay, am thinking of sticking a pic of her face on the front lol: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bridesmaid-Vintage-Style-Wedding-Thank-You-Card-/170627426086?pt=UK_Home_Garden_GreetingCards_ET&hash=item27ba2fe726
plus this: http://willowtree.info/product/thank-you
I'll probably get her jewellery for the wedding day as a thank you gift as well.

Oh thanks for those Nicki- will keep the lighter in mind for best man- no idea what else to get him, a lighter or a hip flask! - will just have to see if he is still smoking, I dont think he has any intention on giving up but you never know!
Tracey- I will ask on Monday, if they only have my wedding booked in I would be suprised if they couldnt do yours aswell as mine is only small (45 chairs). I guess they can speak with your venue and sort out when to go set up, will definately let you know what they say.0 -

I posted about my meeting with the dressmaker on my vintage wedding thread - it went really well! I am very keen to get a dress made now, although (typical me) am also having cold feet and wondering if it will turn out ok! :rotfl:7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs
