Tracey- those invites are lovely. I agree with others- definates I would print with names on and then the rest I would leave blank and get someone with nice handwriting to then write the names on when the guest list is finalised.
Wanchai- use it as a motivator, not as something to make you feel down about yourself.
Tracey- yours and Lauras pregnancy seem to have gone so quickly, I bet the next 12 weeks whizz by.
I really think when you lose weight you have to be in the right frame of mind, I usually try and last a week or 2! But every now and then I find I can do it, like 2 years ago I lost a stone for my friends wedding as I was bridesmaid, but gradually Ive put it all back on. So I know I can do it, I just need to stop faffing about and do it! I have decided today after spending the 3rd morning in a row in pain with my stomach that Im going to be really good to see if its diet related. I also have a drs appointment next week and I think he may tell me a pain I keep getting since having my gall bladder removed in March is diet related so I thought if I can at least me good for the next week I can monitor it.
So today:
Breakfast- small prortion on fruit and fibre and a banana and a yogurt drink
Lunch- leek and potato soup (convent garden 110 cals)
snack- grapes and weight watchers biscuits
dinner- sausage casserole and mash
Plus an hr at the gym. So dinner isnt probably great but I think the rest of the day should balance it out.
Oh and Wanchai- youve just reminded me I should make up some jelly. When I was being good last time I used to make up little pots of jelly and found it always helped any sweet things cravings. Thats a good idea about putting money by each month. I may do that so that I then have some money to go myself so nice clothes for my honeymoon. Wanchai- ill keep my fingers crossed that the dress lady is nice in person!:D
Chezzebelle:j on your dress being in.0 -
Thanks guys for the invite advice. I think I will order most of the invites for family and definite friends and then order a spare 10 or so just in case he changes his mind.0

Chezzebelle:j on your dress being in.
Oh, sorry to hear about your stomach pain, hope you manage to identify the cause and get it sorted out without too much bother. Have a hug from me :A xx
I'm going to buy some jelly this evening and make it up for when I have sweet-stuff cravings.
I had my little bit of pate and rye bread, my but it was filling!! Dinner will be very small, I think.
You're right about needing to be in the right frame of mind to lose weight - I hope that I stay in the 'zone'!!! I so need to keep at it!:j
I am really looking forward to meeting the dressmaker - hope she's nice as she sounded a bit scary on the phone - not enthusiastic scary, sort of aggressive scary! :eek:7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

:j to Wanchai for your better frame of mind today and your positive outlook. Every little step is a step in the right direction. Good luck with the dressmaker.
I am not in the frame of mind at the moment to diet 100%, i have actual 'Man Flu' and all i want to do is eat! So i am trying to maintain the 21lb i have lost to date and then work extra hard on the next 14lb or more after Christmas. I am trying to be really good at work, no snacks, salad or soup for lunch then i can have a 'normal' meal and snack with the family at night. Its working so far.
I might have a play with my invites when i get home later (if i have the energy) and see if i can improve them. If not then i'll post a pic on here and you ladies can give me some much needed inspiration! :rotfl:
Chezbelle - some dress shops will store for you if they have the room. Mine didn't and i had to take it home. I had to squeeze it into the boot of my Mini which was fun in itself! It is now hanging up on the side of a wardrobe but i can't help but keep peeking at it to see if i still like it!!!!! I have this feeling in my waters :rotfl:that i'll change my mind AGAIN!0 -
Mmmmmm . . . . sugar free jelly made with mixed berries in it and then served with muller light yogurt, vanilla flavour. Now i am drooling. Also for a sweet treat i love meringue nests with mixed berries and yogurt or banana and custard.
For a real chocolate fix and to fill me up i love Hot chocolate Highlights made with skimmed milk. Filling and chocolatey and i often have after one when i have been to Aquafit as i am always hungry after swimming etc!0 -

Cor you lot can rabbit on
chezabelle - hurrah that your dress is ready - this is my big worry at the moment. They told me to expect my dress around February - but what if it's early and I haven't had time to slim! But in regards to whether you will still love your dress I bet the moment you try it on again everything about it that you loved the first time will stand out and make you glad it's the one you picked.
Emma - gosh was it really 7 months ago that you had your Gall Bladder removed?! I remember talking to you on FB when you were recovering!! Gulp - does that mean the next 7 months are going to fly and we'll all be nervous wrecks on the eve of our wedding month!! Gulp!!
Melanie - really hope you feel better soon!!
Right off to do some exercise.(See - I'm setting a good example here lol).

Oh and I snack on cherry tomatoes. Can't stand raw carrots or celery and cucumber is just water. But tomatoes I can eat enough of to fill me up. For sweet cravings - mmm I don't really have them because I do treat myself to one Hotel Chocolat truffle a night - It has to be a HC one cause they are rich enough to tick all the boxes with just one choc, and I get them from the tasting club so each night is a different choc and it's savoured.
(This of course is when I'm being 'good')0 -
Oh, good plan MrsD! I wouldn't be able to stop at just one choxolate though lol!
I haven't snacked all day!!! This is a first for me!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

The key is to take one out of the fridge, take it up to bed, and eat it when you're all snuggled up in bed before you go to sleep.
That way you are too comfy to get up for some more. Besides with Hotel Chocolat chocs I find them too posh (expensive!) and luxurious to scoff them in the same way I would dairy milk. They are the only chocs I can have in the house, opened, and not be tempted to wolf them down!
PS I did 30 mins of a Tracy Anderson 'prance around my lounge pretending I'm dancing' DVD0
