VERY quick message - I have some school work to do before we go out for tea.
Thank you for all the birthday messages. x
LOVE that dress wanchai!! Think that is my fave of all the ones you've shown us.0 -
Enjoy your tea MrsD!!!
Thanks for your kind comment, it is a lovely dress but think I am too short for it lol. Plus hate the thought of back fat with a strapless dress!! :rotfl:7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Erm... am I allowed to say B****ks on here? Lol. I personally don't think there is a 'too short for' rule. The outline of that dress is very similar to mine - and I'm 5ft2.5 (very important half an inch), and I'm having it shortened into a tea length dress. (Very excited - cannot wait to see it).
But yes I agree - the dreaded back fat - or in my case - back skin - where I lost 3st 12lbs I do have some excess skin around my body. (Although the extra stone I'm carrying has filled it out somewhat :rotfl:)
Right - shower time. MrD's mum got me some Lush Shower products :T0 -
Happy Birthday Natalie! :bdaycake: Hope you are having a great day! Last birthday before becoming Mrs D!
Wanchai - I posted a quick update with a sneaky peek of the semi-finished dress yesterday... and my ideas of embellishments... please see http://smoonbeam.blogspot.com/2011/11/progress-with-photos-sun-20-nov.html
I'm happy with the shape especially as I think it makes me look wearing quite tall... (I'm 5'3 and I am actually wearing medium heels...) :rotfl:0 -
Oh - almost forgot - tried these shoes on in a shop on Sat, they are quite comfy compared to the other wedding shoes I've tried!
They're a bit too 'bridal' for me tbh, would prefer something more individual and quirky, but I will keep them in mind. I'm a G width so need shoes that won't pinch the front of my foot!!!

Love, love, love those shoes!! I am now looking at dyeable ones as can't find any high street shoes that are right. Caravel has some gorgeous ones in John Lewis but they are 11cm high which is a tad too much for all day and dancing. So I have searched Rainbow Club today. There are some on eBay but I worry if they dont fit as I'm really a half size. When I get on my laptop later I'll see if I can post some links of my 'likes'0 -
P.S I love that dress wanchai. There is no such thing as to short for a dress and as for back fat . . . Join my club!! I'm planning on a tulle bolero just small enough not to detract from my dress but hide back fat and bingo wings!0

Thanks all. FC - the shoes really are quite comfy, very high for me mind!!!!
The dress decision is just so hard - I am just going to bring my mother to see the faces and see what she thinks, then decide. maybe I'll just wear the Monsoon one and be done with it lol.
wxy - wow, tour dress is coming along great!!!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Hello
Hows everyone today- Natalie, did you have a nice birthday? Your dinner sounded soooo yummy!!
Well I didnt do too badly yesterday, stayed on the motorway all day, I did have lasagne for dinner but just a small portion and I did go swimming so Im happy with that!!
Doing ok today, am going round my friends for dinner tonight- bless her she offered me one of my fave dinners (sausage casserole) so I couldnt resist!! Plus im going for a swim again tonight (bless my mum she took my swimming stuff back with her last night to get it washed) and im being good at work!
Wanchai- that strapless dress is stunning! And those shoes are fab. I agree with Natalie- there is no such thing as too short!! Im really short (4 ft 11.5) and I have gone for a full length dress with quite a long train- but I dont care about my height!!0 -
