Hey

Ive been on the scenic route today! Have been spending quality time with oh today so we went shopping and went for lunch! whoops cheese and bacon burger and chips!! We have however done a lot of walking today so im sure ive burnt some of it off! Am however planning on a big bag of salted popcorn to watch with the xfactor so my day isnt getting better!!

Wanchai- which dress did you love today?

When I tried my dress on I didnt feel fat from trying dresses on, it was a sales assistant comment that made me feel fat,:( and :mad:! She asked what I was looking for and as it was a sample sale started going through the rail showing me what they had and said that with most of their dresses you go up a size so started showing me size 18 and 20 dresses! Now im not tiny, I would describe myself as a curvy 12, but a 12 all the same and my dress is a 14 so a lot smaller than the ones she was showing me, luckily she went away and the lady I ended up with helping me was lovely -she actually used to be a dress maker and years ago she made my sister bridesmaids dresses, and came to the rescue big time with regards to my sisters dress.

Melanie- your jewellery is going to look amazing, cant wait to see some pics!

Wanchai - your terrible at making a decision!! Lol. Only joking, Its a huge decision to get right and so much money to spend. Hopefully your mum will pick a clear winner for you. Can we have pics if the top 3 in the running?

Excited at having a go at my bracelet . . . Will have to wait til at least tomorrow though. I will definitely post pictures along the way!

Cor where have the last 10 days gone when I last did an update saying it was less than 250 days till our wedding?!

It is 240 days, 18 hours, 47 minutes, 28 seconds until Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 2:00.

I wrote MrD's Christmas card out today - wrote I cannot wait for 2012 to come!
Also thought my birthday on Monday will be the last Birthday I receive cards in the post as my maiden name!! :T

Melanie- Im glad you do countdown facebook statuses, I get all excited for all of us about how quickly time is whizzing by and it reminds me I can do mine the next day!!

Hurrah - just had an email off my mum - she is going to come here the night before (late - it'll be around 11:30ish) so she can be here first thing in the morning of the wedding to help me get ready :T

Cor it's quiet on here this weekend!

Well so far I've had 5 meals at motorway services. Tomorrow night though will be a nice country pub off the track visit.

Well this morning I did the last of the Christmas shopping so now all that is left to sort out is me. I've sorted MrD out, all my family, and all of his family. How smug am I feeling?! I cannot wait till Christmas - lol that new John Lewis christmas advert - that is so me!! Cannot wait to give MrD his gifts. Last Christmas as a 'free' man mwahahaaaaa.

Wanchai - what are the dresses like? you are having a vintage theme, right? It must be a tough decision!

I'm still trying to decide what details/embellishment to have on my dress... really happy with how it is turning out but it's not easy to make decisions on the details...

Also Wanchai - I forgot to say, I set up the wedding website with gettingmarried.co.uk as it's free! I found it easy to use so far in case you wanted to give it a go. They also do paid packages too but the simple version was sufficient for all the information we wanted to include. :beer:
