Well, have just sent the certificates for marriage off to the Registrar on the Isle of Wight. Stitched the first card yesterday, looks pretty good, just need to finalise colour of aperture cards we will be using. Only another 15 to go (that's my xmas hols sorted.....)
Would love to carry on the island theme on the place cards, but got a funny feeling I will have to have larger than average cards to get the outline in. Will play and see what I can come up with.
Ooh are you making you own cards? Sorry if this has been spoken about as i may have missed it! I do remember that you were having an Isle of Wight island theme. Are you cross stitching? Wouild love to see pictures if you have any. I have made a start on my invites but need to find some proper time to sit down and get a production line going.0 -

Im very pleased with myself this week, I lost 1.5lb. I would be so happy to lose 0.5 lb every week- it would add up by the time the wedding comes round.
Wanchai- I cant stop myself eating things like chocolate or the odd bag of crisps but I only have small bars of chocalate or bags of crisps that are under 100 cals in the house and allow myself one as a treat if I have been good that day- If I tried to stop eating it completely I would then want it so much I would then go and eat loads and loads of it!
No pics today- Im out till late tonight. Ill probably try and do some at the weekend or next week as Ill have more time (and its going to take a while for me to work out how to do it!!:D
OK, that sounds like a good idea.Well done on your 1.5lb loss btw, you are doing something right!!! :T

Just found this article, my house is cluttered so maybe I should have a clearout?? Thing is, I am so MSE that I have a pathological fear of throwing things out!!!!

Cor you lot have been chatty!
Well done Emma on your 1.5lb loss!! :T
Hiya Michelle - ooo do share a photo of them when you have finalised them!
Wanchai - DEFINITELY buy more healthy tihngs- but it doesn't necessarily have to mean spending more - you can buy very cheap cuts of meat - like braising steak, and bung it in a slow cooker. Cheap and healthy. Although I admit I do spend more when I'm being 'good' cause I think I might as well have the finer cuts of meat like Fillet Steak - ooops! :rotfl:. Try it - what harm can it do?
I've eaten today:
Breakfast: 36g of branflakes, 1 wheatabix, 24g dried mixed fruit, 200ml skimmed milk (usual breakfast).
Lunch: 80g of lean steak mince dry fried with 1/6th of a pot of passata, 1/6th of a knorr beef stock cube, a sprinkling of oregano, approximately 2 mushrooms sliced, and 1/3rd of a red onion sliced. Served with boiled cabbage, sprouts, green beans, stringless beans, 1 carrot. ("Leftovers")
Tea: Chilli Con Carni made with: 160g of lean steak mince dry fried with 1/3rd of a pot of passata, 2/3rds of garlic clove, a sprinkling of oregano, 1/3rd red pepper diced, some chill and cumin, 1/3rd of a tin of red kidney beans. Served with roasted (in 1 teaspoon of oil) 1/2 corn on the cob, 1.5 carrots, some green beans, some stringless beans, a handful of sprouts, 4 cherry tomatoes, half a red pepper, half a red pepper.
Snacks: Yoghurt, and a hotel chocolat choccie.
*edited because I realised I hadn't had any carbs with my lunch so needed some with my tea - hence the chilli con carni and kidney beans*

Hi all fellow-brides
I have my dress. I love it so much, but will love it better when it can be done up ;-) I too need to lose weight! Back to low-carbs for me and no-carbs in the evenings.
Got the daytime invitations out. Got a few bits of decor sorted. Mr SAAC has his suit, but it needs a little alteration.
I'm going to ask all my family to hand over all their white chrimbo lights in January, then I'm going to stick name labels on the plugs and put them away for July.
Lovely to see everyone's plans moving forward.0 -
That is a great idea about collecting everyone's christmas tree lights!!0

Evening all!
FutureCooper, you inspired me to have a healthy dinner, I had roast veg on their own, so needed to make up for earlier! But then I had 2 chocolates - oh dear!I wasn't going to confess on here but I decided to be honest
OH was out so it was just me. Tomorrow I am having muesli for breakfast and salad sandwiches for lunch, and either roast veg or HM veg soup for dinner. Need to be good!!!
MrsDrink - you have been a veritable saint today!!!!! Good girl! I have decided to increase my food budget and prioritise heathy eating even if it costs more.Getting in shape for this wedding is more important to me than saving a few pounds! I'm even thinking of signing up for a weekend detox bootcamp in January just to retrain my eating habits and get the exercise bug back! It's £250 though!!!!!

I would also like to know what your using the fairy lights for . . . . i LOVE fairy lights. I wander if i could put them up in my venue?! oooh now you have me thinking of another idea :j
Wanchai - i'm an inspiration, well i never thought i'd ever hear that :rotfl:Now i'm blushing! I have been good again so far with 28g of Puffed wheat for breakfast. Tasted gross but they are really high in fibre which i need on SW plan. Then its beans on nimble toast for lunch and quorn chilli for tea. Snacks will be fruit and maybe an options hot chocolate made with skimmed milk later whilst watching IAC.
Congratulations on the dress also sickasachip . . . .any pictures ?????? we love to share!0 -
