Well my being good was going well till I got home! Was planning on chicken in a sauce with rice, but was convinced the chicken smelt and tasted funny so after cooking it all up chucked it away so then just chucked oven chips in and did a gammon steak on the foreman with some peas! And then finished it off with a strawberry muller crumble!! whoops!! I wont be hard on myself today though as I was feeling really rubbish earlier so will just forget today and be better tomorrow.:D
I hope everyone else has been better than me! Natalie- did you fall asleep at yoga today?0 -
Lol I *almost* did - I drifted in and out, and the deepest drift was actually after she told us to roll over on to our sides to get ready for sitting up. :rotfl:. It was lovely though - had a really really good session. At the start of it she told us we'd be working on legs, bums and various 'long' muscles (can't remember their names)... my first thought was 'grrrr' I usually hate working on legs cause my ham strings/back of the knee tendons are incredibly tight so I can never do as much as I'd like to be able to. But the whole thing was just lovely - the right mixture of stretching and working, with relaxing - I kept having to yawn and stretch throughout the session to wake myself up a little lol.
The bad news though is the hiccups returned as soon as I was getting ready to leave Yoga to come home, and I've had them since - 1hr so far.
Emma - I think even though there was some naughtiness at the same time you weren't totally off the rails - you cooked your gammon (cor been years since I've had some - MrD doesn't like it - lol used to have it with a slice of pineapple - yum), anyway what was I saying - you cooked your gammon on your forman grill rather than say frying it!!Tomorrow will be a better day
Well I have nearly finished Christmas shopping for MrD - he is going to have 6 proper Christmas pressies to open.Cannot wait!!

Natalie- my oh never used to eat gammon but since we lived together I have got him eating it, and chilli, 2 of my fave things- its just as well for him he now eats them or he would be going hungry!! Oh has an egg with his, I dont like pineapple or egg (yuk!) I guess it could have been worst, it was just annoying as I had planned on being better! Will have to go and decide in a mo what oh is going to cook tomorrow.
Oh I hope your hiccups go, I hate the hiccups!!0 -
Hey - sat here I've just realised I'm not hiccuping - they must have disappeared some time while I was eating tea!!0

Spots - since July I have been taking antibiotics for my spots - and for the last month or so I have had lovely clear skin (still needing foundation to even out the complexion - and make old red patches from old spots disappear)... that was until a week last Sunday (10 days ago)... when I ran out of tablets and my doctors messed up my repeat prescription... I now have a great big baked bean on my chin. Grrrr!
Still it is really nice to have found something that can give me clear skin (the antibiotics together with the pill to stop my periods), so by July next year I will NOT have any mountains on my face that I sob over!0 -
Just got myself a bargain. I have been racking my head and the internet for cheap decorations to use my colour scheme at the venue. I really like bunting but its still around £10 for 3metres (ebay). I don't have a sewing machine to make it myself, plus i can't use one! and having looked at buying squares of fabric its still going to cost about the same . . . . . i found shiny foil Purple lovehearts on a garland in the Xmas aisle at Wilko's. 3metres for £1.25. Its the perfect purple to match the BM dress! yay . . . .so i am thinking of having it 'swagged' on our top table (it will be a straight table with just the 4 of us on, some 'swagged' along the bar front and maybe around the cake table but i dont want to go overkill on it so i'm not sure about cake table and bar at the moment. It might have to be one of those things that i wont know until i set the room up. I will still be having purple and lilac paper pom poms from the beams and i have purple metallic heart shaped confetti for the tables as well. Starting to come together now and i can finally see an end to the decoration nightmare!!! Still to decide on a centre of table decorations. I'm not sure jam jars with flower heads in will be enough for the round tables.
Boo to spots Natalie. My son has antibiotics and a roll-on he uses on his face and neck and they have cleared stunningly. His confidence has returned and mummy has her little boy back!! (hahaha he's nearly 19!) You will look beautiful on the day i'm certain
Emma - your day was good food wise, don't dish yourself! Its only 1 meal out of 21 we have a week.
I once heard that dieting is a journey to a set destination, we can go fast forward on the motorway, no stopping, no scenery and very boring but arrive quickly or we can take the scenic route, veer off a little, stop and enjoy the countryside, have a pub lunch and arrive a little later but arrive none the less . . . . . I am a country driver!!!0 -
Hello ladies,
I haven't been on for a few days so I'll need to catch up on all the chat!
Natalie - Love your garden reception idea and your MSE gazebos!Boo to the spots!
I suffered when I was younger, but they cleared up with a roll on like Melanie mentioned and a specific contraceptive pill - Dianette - but you can't take it for more than a few years so I had to swap after a while.
I still get the odd one or two, but nothing like what I used to get. I have some scars and uneven skin tone on my face so I bought some sessions on diamond micodermabrasion on Groupon. Will let you know how it goes!
How do I insert a pic into my post? I tried using flickr, but they don't appear! Gggrrrrr! Help!:rotfl:0 -

I love that analogy!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And I am pleased to say that I have lost 0.6lb! Just a blip really, but as long as it's a downward blip I don't mind.Must keep at it!
Your table decorations sound fab :j, bet you are thrilled with your bargain bunting!!!!I am going to attempt to make my own bunting (eeeek) - I have bought some Cath Kidston-style shabby chic fabric remnants and just need some ticking to stitch it onto. But I am scared of messing it up!
:o:o
MrsDrink - spots are a b****r, aren't they! I always get them at the worst times! Hope you manage to get some more of the magic medicine for yours. Congrats on finishing your Christmas shopping for your OH too :T and you have reminded me to go back to yoga, I lurve it :A xxx

Hey everyone
Eating good hasnt been great today- I have had
fat free yoghurt drink
porridge
banana
And a bag of hula hoops for lunch!
I really wasnt feeling well so went home just before lunch and fell straight to sleep, I stirred about 1.30 when oh got in and thought I better eat so looked at what I fancied and it was hula hoops! And then I slept some more until 4! Oh is cooking me spag bol at the mo so im hoping I feel ok to eat it as I really fancy that! I hate missing out meals and substituting them for a small snack but I will not be hard on myself as I could have happily eaten a 450 cal bag of popcorn instead!!:rotfl:
Melanie- the loveheart garland sounds fab- how many did you buy? Instead of jam jars could you get a large version on the glass jars natalie got (I got some larger ones cheap in ikea, ill see if I can find them) and put flowers in them, ribbon or lace around them so they would be a larger version on your jam jar idea? If you goggle galss jars with flowers in there is few lovely ideas. There is on that looks fab that is using bottles, or one has large glass jars with ribbon and a button, like this:
%
here is is the link for the jars:
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/search/?query=slom
Im sure the lids would come off easily.
Spots- one thing I have never suffered badly with, I sometimes get the odd one but thats it, but I am worried the one time I will wake up loads will be the day of the wedding (I just know my luck!).0 -
I have that dread too PinkPrincess!!!!
Spots = aaargghhhhh
Those Ikea jars are fab.
Don't be hard on yourself, Hula Hoops are only about 100 cals per bag or thereabouts. Are you ok now? Coming with something? x7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs
