Natalie- it looks lovely, lets hope MrD approves! How soon after the saturday party will you go? Maybe MrD dad thought Sarm would be ok as you were going to go to a different resort- they may have even changed their mind by now!! But I dont blame you for feeling just a little bit grrr!!

Im just having a strop at the mo, its not bridezilla but its making me want to cross someone off my evening list!! Ive been friends with someone years (we used to be really close and arent so close now but she knows if she ever needed a friend I would be there)and she is planning on a roller disco for her birthday next week- and hasnt invited me!! I always invite her out and she always comes so I am now thinking well does she not see me as a friend- and if she doesnt I dont see why I should invite her!! :rotfl:

Have you tried any on? The type of dress I wanted, I didnt end up buying because i tried a dress on chosen by the assistant, instantly fell in love with it, and bought it there and then!!

I've tried those two on, love them both... oh btw, the first one is £650 and the second is £1,600!!! Insane!

I've tried on several others as well, I really like about 4 or 5, am so indecisive!!! lol

Wanchai- I think you need to try on all your favourite dresses again, take one or 2 people you know will be very true full, try them all on again and im sure you will work out which one is right for you. If you still love them equally then try thinking about practicalities- which one is most comfy (you do have to wear it all day after all), which one is most suitable for the weather in July, and if you still cant decide then cost should come into it ie if you love 2 equally and one is £1000 less! Good luck in deciding, all the dresses you have shared with us are stunning so its going to be such a hard decision!!

Thing is, I do have a few other dress appointments so will go to those, then decide which ones to try again and hopefully I can make up my mind!

Just bought a 2012 diary for wedding planning purposes!!! It's not a wedding expense as such as I would have bought one anyway, but am buying it early

Emma - The latest package holiday I've found would leave on the Thursday after our Saturday wedding party So that gives me plenty of time to get packed. (I did want to leave on the Tuesday but they just done have the flights).
Oh that is pants about your 'friend' and I would be a bit mad too!! How did you find out about the roller disco - could you mention it in a 'oh I hope you have a great time' and see how she reacts - she may have just forgotten to invite you, or it might be that she thought you wouldn't be interested so she's arranging something else for just you two to do. (Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt here).

Had lots of catch up reading on here tonight! Well we have booked the new venue and written a letter to the first venue to cancel and ask for our deposit back. Hand delivered on Wednesday and no phone call so far!! surprise, surprise.

The new venue has thrown a mini spanner in the works though. We have to have a minimum of 40 day guests and we were only going to have 30 so we have to choose 10 extra friends. Its not that easy!!!! So i will need to make extra menu cards, day invites and sort extra favors now. Luckily i haven't started putting the invites together yet. I had printed the inserts though so i'll just have to do some more.

We are allowed to decorate however we like so i need to get making the paper pom poms to hang from the beams and we will be having round tables for the breakfast now so they will each need to be numbered and i have no ideas how to number them. I had only planned on large flower heads in jam jars and tins for centrepieces on the long tables we were having at the previous venue. So it seems i still have a lot to do and think about. thank goodness i still have 39 weeks to go!

You could still have all that stuff for the round tables, just a few bits in the middle of each table?
