Welcome back Rach-I think its nice your ohs outfit will be a surpise- Im leaving my oh to sort out his outfit so it could well end up me first seeing it when I walk down the aisle, but I like this idea, and I like the idea of giving oh something to sort out all by himself. Im a little bit worried his brother will try and persuade to get some skinny russell brand kind of suit but my dad will be there aswell so hopefully he will make sure they get something I will approve off! (although he could wear t shirt and jeans and I wouldnt care as long as hes happy- and there!!:rotfl:). Sounds like your plans are coming together well.

Oh Jem- where are you going?

Bali! Cant wait now! :j We were going to g to Rome, but the hotel we wanted and for when and what we wanted to see, was about the same as a week in Bali, and we've had a bad year so need to crash in the Sun!
    Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 2014

Day1: Been very sensible food wise. Went to a Body Balance (Pilates) class after work.
It is 15 weeks till February when my wedding dress shouldbe ready for a fitting - that is 1lb a week - I'd be happy with that but I must pull my finger out and stop this dilly dallying!!

Have started packing for our holiday - consisting of putting our wetsuits in the suitcases and putting the suncream in. :) Cannot wait to go! :) Can't believe I have only 6 school days left - it feels like an AGE ago since I booked it!!

Emma - I am loving my phone. I think the only thing I'd criticise it for would be it's processor is slower than the iPhone 4. But as it's half the price I'm really not complaining!

It's been ages since I did a list - but then not much has happened for ages - don't think there is anything to update on it!
  • Been to view another venue . . . Happy Bride to be again!! :j

We have provisionally booked it as there co-ordinator (owners daughter) is on holiday. We had a good look round and viewed their function room. Its huge, has its own bar and snug area, large dance floor and another huge space for the band. Then they have patio doors all along the wall that open out onto the gardens and a patio seated area. We have full exclusive use to all these areas. Due to us only having 30 guests they will seat us in the Dining room of the Hotel for our Wedding breakfast and serve our 'arrival' drinks on the patio. So it really feels like we are getting to use the whole of the Country House. There will be no clearing day guests out of the area whilst they re set the room! So it feels like a real bonus and i can't believe it is cheaper than the original venue.

So i'm finally :T and if we lose our deposit we will accept it, although with no Terms and Conditions or contract given to us and a hand written receipt for my deposit we will try. Got nothing to lose!
  • LauraL- glad to hear your sizing scan went ok.

JemB- Bali sounds amazing, youll have an amazing time.

Natalie- I was looking at my friends phone today, im sure its the same as yours but think ive ruled it out as I do occassionally drop my phone and I think the screen would crack way too easily. It does look so nice though!

Melanie- :j:j:j, your new venue sounds amazing, and thats great that its less in price aswell.
  • Natalie - well done on the healthy eating. I have been on it for 15 weeks now and i have slowly lost 16lbs in total. I haven't been 100% at all but I am really struggling at the moment and just can't focus on it and i'm beginning to panic as i'm still at least a stone short of getting my dress near me!!

Laural - pleased the pregnancy is going well. Baby will be here in no time!

Jemb - Bali . . . sounds relaxing. even the word Bali sounds relaxing!

Emma - i'm copying your list!!!!!!!!!!

It's been out for about 3-4 weeks on O2 and Virgin, but only came out on Friday on Orange - lol typical!!

Melanie - I wish I could say we can spur each other on lol but even that won't help me - I just need to get my head in gear. I need to remind myself that work controls enough of my life and that I need to stop it from controlling my weight as well.

Right I think I'm going to update my list - lol be back soon!
  • Why does losing weight have to be so difficult! I do well for like 3 or 4 weeks then have a bad week and it all goes wrong! So far have been good this week, I did very well today and didnt open the big bag of malteasers a colleague got me- they are still sat unopen in my drawer!

When you do your lists let me know if you realise ive missed something off, judging by my still to do list loads!:D Ive been trying to google to get some centre piece ideas but havent seen much I like, they are either too small or too big!:rotfl:

Melanie- your doing fab with your weight loss. A big well done.
