Welcome back Rach-I think its nice your ohs outfit will be a surpise- Im leaving my oh to sort out his outfit so it could well end up me first seeing it when I walk down the aisle, but I like this idea, and I like the idea of giving oh something to sort out all by himself. Im a little bit worried his brother will try and persuade to get some skinny russell brand kind of suit but my dad will be there aswell so hopefully he will make sure they get something I will approve off! (although he could wear t shirt and jeans and I wouldnt care as long as hes happy- and there!!:rotfl:). Sounds like your plans are coming together well.

Had a proper chat with H2B last night about our venue . . . hes still grumpy about it! So we have sourced another venue 2 miles down the road. It is a hotel again and they have just been taken over and refurbished and the website pictures of the layout look lovely. No idea on costings (other than their set menu's online) so we are going to see them tomorrow night. They are keen on getting into the 'wedding scene' and are having there own wedding fayre on Nov 1st so we can view the layout and possibilities of the room.

All i want is a single member of staff that i feel i can trust to set the room up for me, layout the tables as requested and not pull faces if my ideas differ from theirs!!!!!

Melanie- make sure you let us know how you get on, its important to feel you can trust the venue and have faith they will deliver all they can on the day, just make sure if you cancel the other venue you will only lose your deposit (some places put in the contract things like still having to pay if they cant resell the date- so do check your contract), ill keep my fingers crossed the new venue is fab.

sorry I have not been around for awhile, have restarted uni and soooo much work to be done. I do still pop in every now and then to check up on all you guys.

In other news I have my 20 week scan on Monday. Still no decision whether we are finding out the sex or not

Natalie- how are you getting on with your new phone? I really cant decide which phone to go for as Im due an upgrade!

Tracey- Good luck with the scan- and deciding whether to find out or not.

Mel- Im impressed you were going out for a jog- Im rubbish at motivating myself to go back out to exercise once Im in the warm.

My dress, shoes, tiara, jewellery, petticoat, alterations booked for April, have bra (need pants!!:rotfl:)
Chief bridesmaid- dress, shoes (needs to try on) tiara
Younger bridesmaid- dress, tiara, jewellery
Flowergirl- dress
Hair and make up booked
ceremony booked, notice given
reception booked, deposit paid (and all confirmed!:D)
catering booked, deposit paid
Flowers- bought just need to be made up
car- booked, deposit paid
cake- booked (look yummy!!) deposit paid
photographer booked, deposit paid
Dj booked, will have a meeting start of next year
Rings- done
Jars/ scoops and tongs and bags for sweetie table
Bubbles for the table

Mens suits- oh will be sorting this start of year (depending when his brother our best man, is down, may be touring so need to find out when he is home)
invites- being made in half term
table centrepieces- will try and get this decided Saturday
chief bridesmaid- jewellery
younger bridesmaid and flowergirl shoes- will get this May/ June time
Table plan- will do next June time once we have rsvps
Need to decide if Im having a veil, have decided if I have side bun I wont, if I have abun at the back I think I will get one

Wow you must be bored!! Lol
I haven't got anywhere near half of that done. I cant think of anything missed . . . That's a very good list. I might have to adapt it for me. I have no idea where to start with jewellery for me or BM as I love all of it! I think I'll end up with loads by the day, just like the shoes.
Been to see a venue this evening. It's got the indoor marquee look. It was nice but it was more expensive. I've kind of fallen for the Country Hotel we going to see tomorrow night. Ooh decisions, decisions

I am bored, and ive had to log off facebook as my norton kept flagging it up as dodgy so now im mega bored! I think ill be the same with jewellery and shoes! I have one set that I picked up on offer but will have to see how it looks with my dress and tiara! My tiara is one thing that wont be changing- I love it!

Oh well let us know how you get on tomorrow, do you know what the prices are like for the place tomorrow?
