Well the only weddingy thing I could think of doing was to create the labels for our invite envelopes in word. Job done! Was actually quite good cause we've refined the guest list ever so slightly - not inviting 2 people from MrD's work, instead we're going to invite one of his friends who he plays snooker with, and not inviting one of his cousins on the basis that we never see him (we're inviting 2 sets of his cousins because we see them regularly and I know them - but I think if we were to invite the one that's been cut we'd have to invite them all - which would mean no room for any friends whatsoever).
Our guest list now stands at 53 including us :) Much better number! (lol at one point it was creeping up towards 69!)

Next weekend we're off to my big brother's. So I won't be able to do anything weddingy - lol not that I have anything to do!! I think I might print out a sample label soon - will test my mum's one out on an envelope - see if I can get them to print - if not I'll have to buy some sticky labels - but I don't want an 'edge' on the sticker!! lol. Might save this to do in a fortnight's time lol.
  • I blend my soup. Don't think i could have it chunky!

    Melaine the invites look fab

    LauraR loving the bouquet.

I had a look on ebay for fish bowls but they are either to hire or pick up only and i'm not travelling 2/3hours just for some fish bowls!!

I'm waiting for OH to be hungry so we can have tea - i'm starving! Might just nosy at wedding bits and pieces!
  • LauraR - love the bouquet. I'm so excited seeing it all together. I'm dying to do mine now. Just waiting for some buttons from family in Australia who want to be part of it.

Might put the BM buttons together as I have the ribbon for that!!
  • LauraL- have you tried place like Wilkinsons, or even sainsburys, tesco- Im sure Ive seen them in one of those. Mil2b works just Portsmouth side of Southampton- I guess thats a bit far for you. What size do you want? Im bored at the mo so happy to have a google for you!!

In my boredom Ive hoovered and made a bolognese for dinner tomorrow, we will be going to the gym so it will be nice and quick when we get in!

My soup- I blended some of it but still have some lumps of potato and a few other random veg that I chucked in!!

Melanie- thats lovely that family in Australia want to be part of your bouquet.
  • I second wilkos for bowls, have u tried gumtree also?

I dont know if this will work but a little video of my bouquet with cream ribbon?!
