it works by clicking on the photo.
I think it looks fab Laura!! I bet you must be really chuffed with it!
What's it like to hold? It's really hard to judge cause I know you said you only wanted a small bouquet, and obviously you have so much wire to wrap up, but I was just wondering if the handle could be 'tighter'? Lol but that is just me, at the end of the day you're going to be holding it so no one is going to see it!!0 -
its fine. i cant get the stems to be any tighter though. its not to wide and just fits nicely in my palm. think imgoing to make the stem longer though.
it looks way better then i thought i could ever make! x0 -
I love the colours - and the way the white/cream/ivory ones make the blue look even bluer if that makes sense!!
Really lovely that it fits your palm perfectlythat's the important thing as you're the one holding it!
What does your OH think to it?0 -
Laurar - the bouquet looks great! Very unique - and it makes it all the better that you've made it yourself! I'm so crap at anything arty I'd never manage that! Lol! Is the colour of the stem different in the photos to the video?
Futurecooper - I love the invites too. Are you choosing between them? Or is one for day guests and the other evening or something? My fav is photos 1&2 - they're so pretty looking!
You're all very healthy and domesticated - I really need to get on board with that! Don't want to be waddling down the aisle!
Mrs D - Lol @ calling me natalie3 - I guessed it was me though, I'm from quite a big family and we all look vaguely similar, so I'm used to answering to a variety of names!I like the look of your cockaleekie soup - what's bouquet garni though?
I was at a wedding fayre today - think I'm more confused now more than anything though! Lol! We can't decide whether to have a bag piper at the wedding though, I don't personally like the sound of them, but OH does, and I don't like that the companies I've spoken to so far, don't let you choose the specific piper you're having, so you could have someone you've not heard at the wedding - whichworries me in case they're rubbish! Lol! I've added that to OH's to-do list to research and see if he can come up with something better!
We're having a catholic ceremony in a chapel so my biggest task at the mo is trying to find a choir who can perform catholic hymns! I've no idea where to even begin looking!
Hope you're all having a lovely evening - it's a long weekend up here, so I'm just delighted not to be working tomorrow!

LauraR- The bouquet looks fab.
Well Ive been putting off trying my dress on, but I think im going to see if I can try it on in 3 weeks time, oh has to work his one yearly weekend so I was thinking that would give me something to keep me occupied for at least an hr!:) Plus hopefully I can lose another 3 lbs taking me about the same weight I was when I got my dress.
Im clueless about my hen do! I just dont know what to do! Me and my sister are having a nice girlie spa day. I would quite like off roading, but my sisters boyfriend is currently rebuilding an offroading car so I could do that when his is sorted, Alton Towers would be fab, I love it there, but its too far for 1 day so it would have to be 2 days which I wouldnt mind but some people werent that keen! Ay more ideas???0 -

It's like a teabag that's full of herbs - you find them in the same section as all the dried herbs.

Emma - I'll have more thoughts about what else you could do for your hen do.

Night all

Thanks natalie, OH thinks its great but he is a man so its hard to tell really! lol
off topic but i hate spiders... even toy ones small plastic ones any real or not. if im flicking through a book, paper magazine ill freak and drop it or close my eyes and flick the page! i know it seams stupid but i really cant cope with them. i have nightmares about them and find my self stood at the light switch having a panic attack in the middle of the night! a MASSIVE one just ran at me in the living room! im still shaking.. OH flushed it now im scared to go for a wee!!! and why do people post pics of ones theyve caught on FB!! sorry but OMG!!! im such a girl i know lol
I dont know where you are but is there a go-ape near you? what about a meal, bingo night then a few drinks somewhere (thats what we are doing aswel as magaluf for those who dont fancy it or cant afford it)0 -
Emma - the hen do's a toughie! If you like the sound of AT though I think you should go with that. It's your hen do so it should be about what you want to do. If that means there are fewer people there that's not really the end of the world - you could have a nice meal out more locally for those who couldn't afford or didn't fancy it.
I'd echo Laura's suggestion of Go Ape as well though, I did that for my birthday a few years ago and loved it! Although I don't know if I'd have managed a night out afterwards - I was exhausted!
I've left mine up to my bridesmaids in the end, I'm too much of a people pleaser and was getting a bit upset when people were being snotty about my ideas, so I decided to leave it to the girls. It's hard - cause I'm a bit of a control freak and I'm completely in the dark - but they know me well enough so I'm sure I'll have a blast whatever they come up with.
Best of luck finding something!

If it helps to persuade anyone, I can vouch for the fact that the alton towers hotel is AMAZING if a little pricey but they do have a spa there and the water park! I'm a bit biased though as I love anything to do with rollercoasters! I'm sure I've told you that my oh proposed on one lol.
We are all moved in now but shattered, got work in the morning boo
Anyway gonna keep this short as I'm on my phone so its hard to type but will try and get all caught up tomorrow!

Opinions required please - Ladies as you know i have been playing with my invites this weekend. BIG problem . . . i don't like them! The story goes likes this . . . . . My original thoughts were to have a coffee and cream colour theme thinking that it would be more classic. H2B was going to wear a brown suit and BM in a coffee colour dress. So i designed my invites around that and had a local stationary company print the inserts of cream card with brown ink and then gate fold my brown card for me. All i have to do is put it together, wrap around the spotty ribbon and glue a few buttons or similar on to them. However since then i have chosen a Purple BM dress, fell in love with some purple shoes for me and H2B and son have asked to wear Grey 3 piece suits which will look gorgeous (IMO) with the purple theme!!!! I'm not a classic chick, i'm a bright purple, pink and fuschia kinda girl, so why oh why did i think i could do classic. :rotfl:
Am I just wasting the money spent unnecessarily? Is it really important to have them matching? (in my head it is!!) I have chosen the floral, vintage paper look for the Menu and name cards and for the favour bags too and also have an idea for the Seating plan!! I'm pleased with those but not happy with the invites. Ho hum . . . what to do?
I would like to hear other views and if anyone would like to volunteer to tell H2B that would be a bonus!!!0
