I have been thinking more and more - and I'm going to have to do something with my envelopes lol (Thank you Melanie - you've given me something weddingy to think about).. I want my invitees to look at it and think wow, and then open the card and think double wow... not just think meh it's a boring envelope oh thats a nice invite - lol if that makes sense. Good job I hadn't written any already isn't it!! Now to see what I can create - lol I'm thinking possibly writing everyone's addresses in the same burgundy colour as in the cards themselves on some sticky labels - that's easy enough to do. Part of me would be tempted to write their names like a word cloud so it fits in with the all the rest of the stationery but no idea how that'd work on the envelopes - lol I might go have a play now!!

Okay how about something like this - over the whole of the envelope (which is small).

(ignore the black line on the bottom - I didn't trim the picture enough in paint).

I'm in two minds - I might just do their name above the address, with names in red and address in black - that'd fit in with the rest of the invite colours. :) Plus not everyone will have an address.

:) right next job - find some suitable printer labels :)
  • I think it looks fab, but do wonder if it could cause confusion for the post office and or the machines they use to sort the post (although I have no idea how their machines work so it could be fine!)

Im sure whatever you do will look fab.:D
  • ooo stories! they have been nice to read!

I met OH at 16 1/2 after a long and horrible relationship from the age of 14 with an older guy i decided after the horrible xmas i would take controle and tell him where togo! anyways 2weeks later i went for an interview at my dads company and OH worked there my dad arranged for him to give me a lift. i expected a 40yr old bloke but no it was 20yo OH, we clicked immediatly, i was doing to training days and my boss arranged for him to start work late so he could bring me in... so thats how he got my number. that night i got a tx and that was that... we went on real dates, meals cinema bowling and 3months later we officially got together and 6 1/2 yrs later we are happy as ever with 2 gorgeous boys and a wedding to plan :D

Natalie: i really like ur envelope (mock up thingy) they look fab

Mel: the brown on cream sounds lovely.

I have no idea what i will do. my 5yo cousins handwriting is better then mine (no joke) so it'll be computer or mummy :D
  • :j SHOES ARRIVED!! -at 7.30am this morning so i wore them during breakfast! Yes, they fit. They are higher than i thought and i didn't get the response i wanted from H2B. What does he know!!! He said 'there alright and they are nice shoes but i thought you were going proper bling and flash as your shoes will be on show' - bearing in my i trailed him to Milton Keynes to a bridal shop that make your shoes to any colour order and add loads of sparkle and bling (see link - http://www.beretunstore.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=Marilynne)

So in true female response i looked him straight in the eye and said 'I'm having those as well!' winked and left it at that.

Natalie - i have asked my postman friend if there are any rules for address fonts and style and he said that the machines sort via postcode (manually input then sorted via chutes) and that the address, including house number must be clear but the name can be anywhere and in any style. So yours will look great as they are, Love them and its a great theme and thats what themes are all about (imo).

BM dress trying on session on later. I personally like the short one but i know my daughter will want the long one! OOh just had a thought as i type i could have those shoes (linked above) in the deep purple to match her dress - off to investigate that!!!!!!

In my humble opinion you'd be better off joining something like tescos diets - eating healthy increasing your exercise, and losing weight properly... and using the £500 to buy youself a whole new wardrobe when you're at target than spending it to get there. :) I think I spend what no more than say £50-60 on Tescos diets to lose my weight... plus the food obviously lol.
