Oh no Melanie, thats not so good that the shoes werent there, but at least you have the dresses, and fingers crossed your daughter likes one and it fits- but that is very selfish of her for working the next 2 nights!!:rotfl:0
-
Totally agree with Emma - that sucks Melanie - we were all getting sooo anxious waiting to hear how they went!! But fab that you really like the dresses - hope your daughter loves one! (How DARE she work!!)0

!!
Lol can you tell I'm getting tired - my posts are getting shorter and shorter!
I know the tired feeling, im going to bed in a mo as I have run out of energy and am shattered, well and truly!
To me £1000 on food is  but I went to wedding in may and i saw the prices online and it was something like £75 a head for the day and there was about 80 or 90 guests and then the evening was something like £15 for the bbq, I could never spend that on food for one day!!!:eek::eek:0 -
I can't do that maths in my head (and I'm a maths teacher!!) lol I'm just poooped - and we've got 2 more days before the weekend. (And annoyingly MrD has informed me I have to get up early on Saturday to collect him from the garage after he's dropped off his works van!!)0

Welcome to you both Maggie and Annie!! (Are they your real names? Do you mind if we call you by them?) Hope you both get as much out of this thread as we all do. It really is a great place to discuss, well pretty much anything!! At the moment we have a bit of a shoe theme going on (REALLY hope they fit you Melanie!) so you don't just have to talk 'weddings' to us. If there is anything you need just shout and I'm sure one of us will be around to help
Thank you all for your concern over my back - it's just not used to being sat still for so long without being stretched. I'll soon be back in my schools walking around the corridors every half an hour to fetch the next victim (child lol). Today was fine at work - got some programmes of work organised, some IEPs written, and a big statutory report written. Tomorrow I'm in one of my schools and can't waitThen back in the office on Friday. But then.... yaaaaaaaay it's the weekend.
I found yesterday really hardGot home from work, did some school work - organising children's files etc, went to yoga (which was bliss), came home cooked tea pretty much straight away, ate tea, went to bed... hardly got to see MrD
. Today on the other hand was so much nicer - I came home and about 10 mins later he came home
Although he's off out to play snooker tonight I feel like I've actually seen him and spent some quality time together (lol none of that thank you very much ha!). It just confirms to me that as soon as we're in a position where he can give up his job the better. I want a house husband!
I can't believe how long our list is getting!!
Haha my knees locked on my first day back as I had a full day teaching and just wasn't used to standing up for so long!FutureCooper wrote: »Slight disappointment . . . No shoes in the package, just the dresses! They are a gorgeous colour and fabric. Will get daughter to try them on but shes at work the next 2 nights, which is rather inconvenient of her!!
Thanks for all the FB messages and friend acceptances. Not had chance to check you all out (lol) as i'm shattered tonight and in a real grump. That said i am having a saintly diet week and have been to the fitness suite twice this week now . . . thats unheard of!
I went to town this afternoon and popped into Debenhams, saw those shoes and they are just as lovely in real life!
Unfortunately I couldn't find the Miss KG ones that I wanted (the blue/green ones) and they've now completely disappeared off the websiteSo I will have to keep checking ebay but look out for some others. Might give KG Nottingham a ring tomorrow and see if they have any in, it'd give me a reason to visit the old uni town this weekend if they do!
As seems to be a common theme, I'm shattered too so am off to bed now lol! See you all tomorrow! xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
KG in Nottingham is rubbish - they don't stock any Miss KG shoes!!0
