I've only been gone a few hours and you've chatted loads! I started my exercise 'thing' today. Used the school fitness suite after work hoping its the new me and i'm determined not to have back fat in my wedding dress.

ooh on the subject of hair colour - Red and pink look great! Obviously not on the head together (lol) but i think Red hair will look fab against any colour. If it makes you feel good, then that radiance will shine through. Thats what makes the best wedding shot . . . . happy bride! You cant fake it xx

But as im naturally dark brown it isnt that red! (like in my facebook profile picture my hair is my dyes red, but it doesnt look red!)

And up until today I thought it would be fine. I feel like the red is more me, if that makes sense, plus my sister (chief bridesmaid) usually has dark brown hair so the red makes us a bit different, we are quite similar!!

IMO - stick with your red hair. If its 'you' then thats what your groom will want. He's marrying you for who you are and your hair colour today not just that one wedding day! Like i say thats my personal opinion!

Love that BM dress and the colour is gorgeous. GO WITH IT!

I think it will look fine to be honest, it's not like you will have bright red next to hot pink, it's your hair and someone else's dress so it won't be close enough to clash even if it did.

Personally I don't think it will look clashy - THIS girl has bright red hair and pink flowers and it looks fine! (from THIS blog)

Just had a sneaky peek at your FB photo's Emma and I would stick with your red! Esp if it's one of your 'things' you don't wanna look totally different! Hair colour is one of those funny things where often if it's different people know something's off, but can't put their finger on what!

Oh thank you, im feeling a lot more positive about the red now.

When people had asked before if I was going to dye it back red I was adamant it would stay red- why change it back brown 'just because people think it should be brown', but then when my hairdresser said that (and shes actually a really good friend ive known since I was 11- eek 17 years!!) I suddenly started to worry.

And Mel- thanks for the link, im going to save that as theres actually a few styles I quite like on there. Ive moved my parting over a bit more so I now have more of a side fringe, which I think will look better with my side tiara, and theres a few side fringe styles on that link I really like.:D

Sorry for the very short message - I'm shattered! Busy day - work, then homework, then yoga, then cook tea sort out lunch and get tomorrows tea in the slow cooker, then sit down and breathe. Lol. Thank god for the yoga in the middle. Soon be time for a shower and then bed.


I have to say Emma, I think a deep/dark reddy red next to pink won't look shocking. Perhaps if it was cherry red and pink then maybe. But I've said it before - I think the most important thing when it comes to our weddings is to be us on the day... not someone we aren't - if your hair is always red and that is what people associate with you - then stay with red!! (lol but on that basis I should also stay red!!)
