Me too! It's such a good feeling especially when you add up all the savings! I don't think I've paid full price for anything so far lol!

Im trying to think what ive paid full price for, the bridesmaid dresses I paid full price- but they were a bargain at £35, my whole outfit has been reduced or ive found discount codes, and other things I have shopped around and got cheap on ebay. im so glad weve had plenty of time to shop around and get bargains!!

Yep that's the beauty of doing everything so early!

OMG I have had yet another nail related nightmare - just painted my nails, and because the window has been open there are some of those little fly things in here. One flew at my face and I swatted it away and now it's stuck to my nail varnish! :(:o:mad:

    Its still wriggling :/

I had to drown the little effer in nail varnish remover. Felt like a murderer. Serves it right for interfering in my beauty routine!

  • Im struggling with my something blue and borrowed!! I was just looking at the shoe I do stickers thinking that will solve the blue part- but they arent that expensive but I refuse to pay between £2.50 and £4 for something that wont cost them a lot at all to send!!

Ive decided I dont want a garter (my original plan was to get a blue one)- I have fat chunky thighs and think the garter will just drive me mad- and theres no way I would be showing it to anyone so have decided not to have one!!

So now im just really stuck!!

Could you have something blue in your jewellery perhaps? The sapphire in my engagement ring will be my blue, its the old and borrowed I'm not sure about.
If you have blue eyes you could cheat lol!

I don't know if it'd work out any cheaper Emma - but have a google for decal lettering - they may be cheaper than the stock wedding "I do" shoe transfers.. we all know the word 'wedding' adds an extortionate amount onto the cost of things. I looked at this a while ago cause I was tempted to have "i do" on mine but in the same font as my invites and in the same burgundy colour... but I decided not to.
    I'm not having a garter either :)
I'm the same as Mel - my blue is the sapphire in my non-engagement ring. (The design is the old, the diamonds are the borrowed, and the metal is the new(er) lol).
Could you get some blue undies? Lol wouldn't recommend borrowing these though :rotfl:

Well today is the last day of my summer holidays. (thank god).
Just think next time we're off school I'll be off diving - yaaaaaaay!!

I've just thought Emma, I have a vinyl cutter at work that I can cut out some 'I do' stickers on for you? They'd only be plain blue though, not any sparkly bits, but I could do pretty much any font style.
I'm not sure how well they would hold up on the bottom of your shoes but you could stick a small piece on some normal shoes and see how it went.
You wouldn't have to pay anything, I could just put them in the school post :p (as long as you didn't mind giving your address).

Might try and make some tomorrow lol and post a photo if anyone might want some!

Haha Laura I guess thats one of the benefits of being pregnant - 9 months with no hangovers!

  • Mel- I may well take you up on that i cant find the glitter ones for a mse price.

I did think about hiding a blue bead in my bouquet if it comes to it!!

Natalie- i saw your staus about it being 7 weeks till diving- does that mean 8 weeks til you can book the honeymoon?

Heheh LauraR- I have noticed your status every saturday for the last 3 weeks and thought 'shes making up for the last 9 months'!!:rotfl:

Well im trying to be good, oh is aswell so that helps. Ive had a yoghurt and banana for breakfast- now I need to get my bottom to the gym!! (but its tipping down with rain at the mo which is making it seem so much cosier indoors)!! Oh ive just realised my poor dad has been doing a charity cycle ride since friday and is due home today- I think he has about probably at least 60 miles to do today in this weather- and theres me not even wanting to run 10 secs to my car!!:rotfl:(oh and oh is out in the rain playing footy- men they are mad!!:D)

no idea why the angry face is there- but I cant see how to get rid of it!!
