I'm 5ft 2.5 (very important 0.5inch!!)
MrD is 6ft1, and he's loving these new shoes cause as he put it "it's nice to have a normal height girlfriend" lol. Cheeky sod! It did feel wrong hugging him in them though cause my head wasn't in it's usual spot on his chest where he has that little dip to his shoulder/collar bone.
See I don't have any of the bending loading/unloading - lol it's MrD's job - he complains something chronic when I do it - apparently I don't stack it good enough lol.
Well done on getting loads of work done. Lol I'm not looking forward to that part of going back to school - having homework to do.When I go back I've got a 1k word 'essay' to write to persuade the government to give me some money to go on a course... I could have done it over the holidays - but lol the deadline isn't until the end of September.
Oh yes I agree - don't go spending too much on accessories lol!! But then I'm sure knowing you you'll manage to find yourself a bargain!!Ooooo shoooes
Lol.

Haha yeah best way is to get someone else to do it!
Oh I know, shock to the system sitting here working! I am generally quite good about not bringing stuff home though, it's just this first busy week getting things done - plus the rather annoying fact that most of my frees should have been at the beginning of this week lol!

WOW I leave you for two mins and look at all the pretty shooooooes
Yea I'm the same - I tend to get my school work done at school and try really hard to not bring any home, but in the first couple of weeks of a new term it's unavoidable. I am lucky in that because I teach in small groups if the children aren't available (like they are on a school trip but the school didn't tell me about it) then I have some spare time to get paperwork done, and then I have my PPA on a Friday afternoon and tend to stay until it's done. My start of terms usually consist of lots of meetings with SENCos and negotiating my work load, then frantically writing IEPs for around 30+ children, and gathering my resources. But once I get into my schemes of work things tend to tick along quite nicely. (My IEPs act as my Schemes of work). Then the biggest thing is getting schools asking me to do literacy/numeracy diagnostic assessments, doing them, meeting parents, and writing the reports. Oh not to mention when the authority request information for a statutory assessment - the quickest I've got one of them down to is 3 hrs. Lol.. remind me why do I love my job so much?!
Oh I love those aqua shoes!! I think being 'matchy matchy' would be lovely - not so much matchy matchy more tying everything inIs aqua you're 'colour' or just what bridesmaid dresses you like? Have you brought them yet (the bridesmaids dresses).
Lol @ getting distracted by the spotty Miss KG shoes - not that you are considering buying them - but I do highly recommend Miss KG - I think they are fab and well made shoesHahah you can't beat a good old pair of high heels!! Oh I really like the last nude ones - I like the texture of the fabric

Yes I have bought the bridesmaid dress (only having one) it's the one in the picture. I'm not sure what shoes she is going to wear, I've left her to decide but I think she is going to go with dark navy and swap the ribbon for a navy one as the black is a bit harsh.
I don't own any Miss KG shoes but I fit in Nine West quite well - I have quite wide feet, do Miss KG come up narrow? Just spotted a code for £20 off with your first order lol - I don't think Shaun has ever ordered from there...xx
Oh darn just checked the sizes only in a 3 or 8.Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Hello fellow July brides & grooms.
I am new here and am also a July bride.
We get married on 7th July.
So far, we have church and venue booked and my dress is bought. Everything else still to go.
Trying to stick to tight budget, which would be much easier if my OH didn't have delusions of grandure for our (my! Lol) big day.
Welcome to the forum!! A lovely chatty lot and we all love to share our wedding related buys! (and the not wedding buys . . . like SHOES!!)0 -
Well Im a little short !!!! compared to you, im 4 ft 11 and a half (that half is most important!!:rotfl:). My oh is 5ft8 so hes perfect height for me.:D
Oh i love shoe talk. Those one youve linked in aqua are lovely- my sister has them in black- they are sooooooo nice!! I think they would look fab with your dress.
Oh I forgot to say- welcome july 2012.0 -
Love the shoes . . . and i love the dress too. im with Natalie on this one its not matchy matchy its co-ordinated.
I haven't found my bridesmaids dress yet (i'm having my daughter, beginning to regret it already ) i was hoping to get something when the Xmas cocktail/party dresses come out. Now you've encouraged to me look at Debenahms site. I went to search dresses but have been distracted by shoes again!! I dont have any KG shoes and i feel i may be missing out :rotfl:0
