those baby pictures are so cute. I am still waiting to hear of my scan date. Hopefully wont be too much longer as am 9 weeks pregnant now. Does anyone know when they contact you with your scan date.
We are not sure where we are going to honeymoon now. I think we are going to look at our options once everything is confirmed. Even if it does mean losing all our deposit, I think I will be happier as do not want to go to Italy now. Thinking maybe a uk honeymoon0 -
Just found out my scan date which is the 16th August. Still a while to go but at least I know a date now0

Tracey it will soon come round. Your scan date is 5 days after my 20weeks scan!
LauraR you have such a gorgeous, you must be ver proud:)
We saw our photographer on Saturday, we walked around the venue and talked about nice shots and walkedd down to the beach to see if there will be any nice places for shots. I'm not too keen on going down the beach as i don't want sand on my dress! For free hes making us a photoframe with our picture in the middles and putting in on a board so people can write comments around the edge. So, we had photos taken. He emailed the photos last night to pick on and on all the photos OH complained about his smile! I told him hes got a year to practice!!
Right im off to sort out the bridemaid shoes.0 -
Hello- hope everyone is good today.
LauraL- I thought you had your bridesmaid shoes?
Hehe- I so need to work on my smile- just aswell I have a year to practice- I always end up with a big toothy grin- and more often than not a double chin so I need to make sure I lift my neck high and learn to smile with my mouth closed- and make sure I dont look like im smirking!!:D (note- this is what my teeth are usually like in photos!!:rotfl:)
Well I finally got round to finding out which name I need to book the holiday insurance in- so Ill sort that out today I think!!0 -
Emma i did have bridemaid shoes but one of my BM needed a bigger size. Went to order them but they don't do them anymore but luckily i've found some more that i liked so i've ordered them and may sell the other shoes on ebay

How far have you got with your planning?
Call me Mel if you like!
We've confirmed the date and paid for the venue, picked the bridesmaids and groomsmen (2 of each), picked what we want to do for the meal, theme etc but nothing's in pen yet in that regard.
I've started collecting bits and bobs, like a vintage inspired travel journal to use as a guest book, free tote bags and bits on vistaprint as they're offered... the MIL is collecting any pretty jars to use for the table flowers... Oh the fiancee has always said he definitely wants a cupcake tower for the cake, so that's one decision made.
We know we're doing charity favours. My grandad and I were really close and he died in a hospice, so we're doing charity favours for the Irish hospice society as he can't be there.
trying to keep it low key but still nice and memorable. I so wanted to elope but he wants a proper day and has brought me round - now I can't stop imagining my dress and thinking about shoes and flowers!
LauraR - what a beautiful baby!
Lauralou - I just noticed you are expecting! Congrats!Seeking the champagne lifestyle on a cider budget!
