I love the idea of a photoframe full of memories. It is such a sweet idea.
Today I got a necklace, earrings and a bracelet for the wedding. Was originally £52 and got it for £21. Just have to wait and see what it looks like with the dress but at that price it does not matter if it doesn't go as can use it with something else.
I have also spoken to my bridesmaids and we have decided to go dress shopping in Jan after they have both giving birth. Thanks for all the advice xxx0 -
Ooo that's a good bargain Tracey!! Glad you've got your Bridesmaids sorted
Lol... well that you have a date to get it sorted. Being one of the most impatient people alive I'd be counting down the days now lol.
Well I have had a play around with all our old anniversary cards and my photo frame is looking really good.Been really lovely reading back through the messages we've written each other. (These aren't going to be on display - lol some of them are a bit risque!) I will try to get a photo take of it soon to show you all (I need some blue tack to hold them in place). I now just have to decide where we're going to hang it so people can see it on the day. I have used a couple of valentines cards at the moment just to act as fillers but I'll add this years anniversary cards in, and then the one I've got him for our actual wedding day. (Lol is it wrong to assume he won't get me one on the day, our 13th year anniversary, cause he'll be so busy thinking about weddings.. or is that hopeful that he'll be so busy lol).

Loving the front post Laura - you're doing a brill job keeping us all up to date!! (Perhaps add the date to the front of all the date twins as well.... It's a shame you can't get tables/columns on here!!)
Thanks for the tip Nat. Oh i would love to be able to get columns on here. I wish the list could be tidier in same way. My OCD is going mad just thinking abiut ways i want to change the list:rotfl::rotfl:!
Welcome The Forgetful One(Jemma) Have added you to the list.
In wedding news My bridemaids dresses have arrived so i just need to wait for my sister and BM to try them on (I did try one and they are lovely:))
Also, been invited to a wedding in September.
In other news i've got a 12 week scan date - 21st June only 1week and 4days to go(yes im counting down!!)
Laura sorry to hear about your grandad. Hope the funeral went ok today.x0 -
Yay I lost 1lb this week. (Total over 5 weeks = 14lbs, but first two weeks was just water retention. Total over the last 3 weeks, more realistically, = 4lbs).
7 weeks till I go dress shopping yaaaaaaaaaaay!!0 -
Our Anniversary Cards (plus a few Valentines day cards).
Lol I really should stop coming on here. This morning I have bought some toeless tights just to check that I can't wear tights with my wedding shoes. (I will wear them for work if they aren't suitable so they aren't really a waste). But also while I was on debenhams website I also ordered some Mac foundation, some Mac primer for my eyes, and some false eye lashes lol... ooops!! And yesterday I bought myself some new running capri pants, and a pink running vest top, and MrD some running shorts ready for this years races. AND last night I bought tickets to go see Sarah Millican in Sheffield in April!! Must stop spending!!
I want the next 7 weeks to FLY so I can go dress shopping!!0 -
Hello Everyone, youve been quiet here the last few days!!
Ive just got back from the iow festival, had a fab few days but couldnt cope with a whole day in the pouring rain so we decided to come home a day early, i wasnt too bothered though as I got to see Kings of Leon who I have wanted to see for ages, and we saw Pulp who my oh loves so are both happy!
So obviously no planning for me in the last few days, but I have sorted out my make up- I contacted my friend who does all things beauty- she did my mums make up for her wedding over 13 years ago and then my sisters about 10 years ago when she got married and has become a family friend, anyway she said she will do my make up, my older bridesmaid and my mum and a little bit for my younger bridesmaid for £60 so am very pleased with that- and I really trust her.
So sorry to hear your sad news LauraR- sending you a hug.
Welcome to the thread Jemma, Im one of the only people here who isnt a teacher!!:rotfl:Im the 28th July- it seems a very popular date.:).
Natalie- loving the cards idea, looks fab. And your doing great with your weight lost.
Oh our honeymoon invoice was waiting for us when we got in- did seem a bit strange seeing my name written down as Mrs H- I know Ive done a quite a bit of planning but seeing that written down did make it seem very real (a very good feeling though!!)0 -
Thank you Emma
It has been very quiet on the wedding board all weekend - not just in here.I've had to venture onto FB games to entertain myself lol. (And keep me from spending any more money - lol as well as the above treats I've also placed an order with Lush for some massage bars - bliss!)
Sounds like you had a really good weekendAnd yaaaaaaaay how exciting - I'm assuming this is your first piece of mail with your Mr & Mrs Names on? :T Great news about getting your make up sorted!!

I did have a fab weekend, was gutted to have to come home early but looking outside at the rain I am so glad we did come home, plus we never would have got the car out the car park if we had stayed- it was bad enough today!!
Im so glad my make up is sorted, I didnt think the lady was doing make up as she did stop for a while but was so happy when she said she did as I know she will do my make up fab. My best friend has just done an eyelash extension course so hopefully she will be able to do them for me so I wont have to wear mascara and wont have to worry about having panda eyes (not so much from crying but im terrible and always forget I have make up on and rub my eyes!!- not a good look!!:rotfl:)
Yep first proper thing, I must remember actually to put this name on my holiday insurance aswell.0 -
Hi guys!! Long time no speak!! The interview for Boots went well - got the job and started yesterday! Got the teaching interview Tuesday and Friday this week :-( I'm busy planning for it.........honestly :-S
What a weekend! Feel like I haven't stopped. Teaching all day Friday, pulling pints Friday night, first day in Boots yesterday and back in the pub serving Sunday lunches today!! Chinese takeaway tonight though so not all bad (though we ordered far too much and have tons left!!). Been drinking Pimms and lemonade too (want it as arrival drinks on the big day but h2b had never had it before so sent him to buy a bottle when I was at work - he has agreed to having it now!!
Wedding planning this weekend - next to nothing done. Had a meeting at venue Thursday night and got an e-mail today with prices  seems so expensive - but everywhere is around the same price and because we have over 100 guests the room hire is free.
Natalie: The photobook album is a lovely idea! Can't believe you've kept all those cards too!! I used to keep them, but found out that h2b had thrown all the ones I got for him, and now we live together he throws mine aswell!! Oh, and I :heartpuls MAC makeup! Total luxury for me!!!
TAKE THAT in 2 days :j:j Excited!!! Time to ask the bridesmaids too! Hope they say yes!!
Anyhows......hope everyone else has had a good weekend.xx:j:j Getting married 28th July 2012 :j:j0 -
Oh, and diet is going rubbish here!! Juiced all day Monday, then eaten really well all week (until tonight, but it's Sunday and I didn't have lunch!). Got on the scales this morning and I weigh exactly the same as I did Monday :-( Had a blood test recently which showed I have borderline underactive thyroid, but doc didn't think it was enough to stop me losing weight, etc. So, am so confused as to why I haven't even lost an ounce!
Anyone got any tips/advice??? xx:j:j Getting married 28th July 2012 :j:j0
