Just popped back to update on the MOT. The car failed as I expected, but only on minor things such as a bulb and a couple of brackets. OH is off the the breakers tomorrow morning to get them and fit them.
The only worrying thing was that it failed on it's emissions - we don't know why, but there are things he can do to change them and he can take it back to the garage to check it free of charge tomorrow afternoon.
Meh - it's all money, and we're slowly running out of that at present, but I have been told I can borrow some off mum and dad if it gets too tight.
Hope you all sleep well and those that are poorly feel better in the morning. My lurg has inexplicably calmed down and nearly gone away - perhaps my daily multi-vitamin does work!

We've asked for it back for weeks and he's always had an excuse for why we couldn't have it. I specifically wanted it so i could cycle to my new job to save money on travel expenses... will have to get the train now!!
In my anger i forgot to post where i think i want my wedding reception.

Don't suppose anyone will remember me, it's been so longLife is "complicated" at the moment, but hey, nobody died
Can't sleep, AGAIN :mad: Just came on to say bramble, I've stayed at that hotel, it's fantastic. We had a brilliant long weekend there ( travelzoo bargain) There was a wedding reception the time we were there. That time they were having the reception in the conservatory, it was beautifully decorated and laid out. The grounds are lovely. We were there in Summer, and being besides the Thames was beautiful. If I wasn't already married, I'd definitely consider it
