  • That's rotten Bramble - I take it that its like a pawnshop then?

    The wedding venue looks gorgeous :D I thought you would go all country style with a converted barn and jamjars filled with fresh flowers, then I remembered you are getting married in November :rotfl:

    yeah local pawnshop. :mad::mad:

    I did look at a few barns (would fit in with OH wanting to turn up on his tractor!) but i think November won't suit.

    But it would be quite cool if we did a barn, with lots of candles and like quite an intimate reception.. that would be lovely!

    We have looked at having it at the River Cottage HQ but don't think it will hold enough people!

  • Love her. ;) She won't appreciate being told to what do, and she'll be scared about being a single mum of two, as well as being heartbroken. Hugs to you honey.xxxx

  • Oh Bramble the River Cottage, there would be a stampede of OSers gatecrashing if you had it there :rotfl: Whatever you decide on, make sure you choose for the two of you, not the parents!!! x

    Evening all,

    About to fall into my bed as I have some type of p*x which is making me feel rotten, am dosing myself with flu medication and doing absolute minimum....OH still not back to form, so pot of spag bol sauce I made today will be divided into portions and frozen to-morrow.

    Only news here is that DD3 is off to Perth, Western Australia sometime in the next month or so, she has got a job there similar to the one from which she was made redundant last month...her new employer is arranging visa etc, so she is off whenever all that is done. It means that I am gaining a dog....the beloved Mossy, as she and DS2 are going to rent the house they own while they are both away. He is a lovely dog, but almost twice as big as Kerry, with appetite to match...you never take him for a walk, he takes you! Will miss her as she is in and out of the house a couple of times a week, but at almost 31 I suppose she needs to get travel out of her system...her BF is going too, but will have to make his own visa application etc....so will be following her rather than going with her.

    Hugs to all, stay warm, sleep well

    Marie
