Hi.
Just emailed you the simulator but delivery failed. Are you using a Apple computer as it is a windows program. As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
I am using a mac, but the email should still be delivered unless the file is huge.
What will the simulator do? Is it realistic enough to beep every few minutes?0 -
File size is just over 3mb.
It might have been rejected as it is a exe file.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
It will not show the alarms, but you can put your basic data into it and it will tell you what settings it thinks you should have at normal level. It does not buzz!!!, it is just a good guide.
I was also thinking, that there may be a sensor fault, but you will need a ohmmeter or a friendly electrician to check that out.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
My mail is powered by Google, so the exe (or even a zip with the exe in it) will be the problem. Sorry about that!
Is there an idiots guide to testing the sensors with an ohmmeter somewhere? Does the 8 or the 9 value seem strange to you?0 -
Page 68 in the manual tells you all the sensor resistances at different temperatures. Also on that page you will see all the factory settings, so worth comparing them with what you have.
Will look to find a workround on that .exe file.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
Hi again.
Apologies if I have asked this before, but still trying to find a way around your problem remotely!
In the K2 menu 1, will you give me all the readings from 1.1 - 1.14.
The simulator is giving the following in the heat curves:
Outside Temp At 6.5 At 5.5

25.2--- 24.4
10
30.4--- 28.8

Trying to see if all your settings are the same, or very similar. As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -

My concern is that this test is telling us what the sensors are reporting (or how the GSHP interprets the info) rather than if the sensor is broken. I will get my hands on a meter in due course, but this may be a few weeks away!
To test if the sensor is broken, we really need to know what the temperature is somehow.
Does the 8 or 9 temperature seem wrong to you?0 -
The heat curves have been altered. Reset them to the figures that I have given you down to 0C.
At 20C outside it should be 20C on the pump.
With Gt8-9 it is possibly trying to get to too high a temperatureAs Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
