Ground Source Heat Pumps

I've just found your forum and hope you can give me a quick answer to what may be a stupid question. I have an ICT Greenline HT Plus. I thought I understood that by setting the "4.1 Clock setting HP according to clock" the period set would output a different heating temperature during that time. i.e. Wed 19:45-09:15 and then in "4.1.1 Setting level heat pump +/-" the setting -1.5 would be a reduction from the usual 19.5oC heating temperature. I have underfloor heating and it just still gets a lot too warm in the rooms at night. In fact it seems much warmer at night than it is during the day. Have I understood the settings correctly? Thanks for any help. Anne0

Hi and welcome.
The clock setting is just like a normal heating system, albeit you can only change for one period per day.
In the other setting, all you are doing is reducing the return temperature of the flow to the pump, it is not like a room thermostat.
Have you got the room sensor set to a certain level, and what is the influence (0-10)?As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
I have the room temperature set to 19.5oC on "the beast" aka ICT Greenline and the influence is currently 5. There is an inside and an outside sensor.0

You have the 1.5C setback correct.
Try the room sensor @ 7.
Also, have the heat curves been altered? As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
Thank you for your reply. Have set to 7 the room sensor influence. Will see what that
achieves.
Regarding the heat curves these are the figures
1.1. 2.4
1.2. 0
1.3. Out 20o Curve 20.0o
Out 15o Curve 22.1o
Out 10o Curve 24.0o
1.10. 19.5o
1.11. Now 7
1.12. 0
1.13. inactive
1.14. 13.5OC
Hope you can make sense of these.

Change 1.1 to zero, to start with.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
-
Will you also give me reading for GT1 to GT11 in heating mode only, not DHW.
30 mins after heating comes onAs Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
Where do I find those settings please?0
-
under menu 3 ---- monitor all settingsAs Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
-
Just a short update. 1.1 set to 0
Since making all the suggested changes the beast has neither heated water nor produced heat. Both (to me) good signs that I shall get a good right's sleep and not be too hot.
I'm away early tomorrow, back late afternoon. Will record G1 to G11 as requested and report at first opportunity thereafter.
Thanks again,
Anne0
