  • Morning Diary

Well today is fairly good so far! Feeling more organised as each day passes which I need for my sanity.

Checked accounts and all is in order. I'm about to quickly take a view on my budget for Q1 2012 as I have the holiday to pay for now which is earlier than planned, plus I'd like to go away in June too but a UK holiday.

I have a shed load of work to complete for the end of this week and it's on target ish lol. I have revision morning again tomorrow and have to go to church tonight for preparations for DS's christening a week on Sunday.

I need to make a list of things to be delivered in food shop which will include the bits I can pre buy for christening too. Making soup for the veggies so will have to do that on the Saturday. Will wait to buy the crusty bread then too as I don't like drefosted crusty loafs... I will buy spuds as also doing roasties as a side and can pre cook them and just crisp up on the day.

The meat will be cooking whilst at church and the stuffing i am not sure if i can make in advance? I bought the value one so must try that prior. Normally make own but it was cheap as chips.

  • ok so it wasn't as quick as I expected as I get excited and go into too much detail!

I have stopped myself now though. Good news is i can get the holiday money and a few savings. Actually there isn't any bad news :D

So once I have my exam done and all of my work will be submitted then too I should have the last week of work to get up to date and spend some time doing next years budget. I don't plan on being on the PC for budgetting from 16th Dec when I finish work so want it all out the way by then for 2012 initial kick off. I will of course need to be on to check balances are as expected and see how much is left to squeeze out of my pay days!

I'll leave it until Friday now as I am paid then and need to get more Xmas stuff so will spend Friday lunch time totting up my totals and so on.

    xx

  • I now feel exhausted and all I did was read your diary.

    Blimey.

I am with you on the downtime activities, I have been decluttering and I am going to fill turbolister this week.

    Bring on the money!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Lol - it's hotting up - i feel excited!!!!

When I am DF I don't know what will give me this same buzz!

Right, lots of work done this morning here in the office, still on track to complete on time at the end of the week.

Despite organising the paperwork within an inch of it's life I still haven't found the log book so looks like I will have to get car scrapped which is still 150 so better than nothing. I shall however go into the loft tonight which is the only otherplace I can think it's hiding from the boxes since we moved. Doubtful though as I'll have got a new one when we moved house and I informed them....which I will have done....of course.....oh heck......

Ebay's looking farily good - i have more things to put on and will keep searching over the next week or so for extra things to sell.

Having lunch in the office (sarnies from home) to save on diesel.

I'm currently working out how many miles £20 gets me as in petrol it got me 109. Will be interested to see how it compares.

I've updated my SS with new car insurance figure which is £24 instead of £49!!!!! Plus £50 cash back for next years challenge. Talk about crazy to not shop around. Hoping Diesel price will lower over the months too given I should be getting more miles to gallon now.

That's it for now - brain's doing overtime!
