My Virgin statement STILL isn't ready and I can't make a call today as office too busy. Great.

I've started a thread on the OS board £100 to feed family of 4 for 5 weeks - something along those lines.

I'm going to update my menu plans and so on tonight if I get chance and post it on there.

    Morning all

Right if my statement isn't ready today I will go nuts!

    Off to check.

Also annoyed as I haven't made myself a lunch up today as fell asleep last night and never have time on a morning before work due to getting kids ready and shipped off to baby sitter.

I haven't made my lunch today either DF, mainly because there is absolutely nothing left in the house to eat! Luckily I won £12 at bingo last night, so I think a trip to Mr T's is in order later for some more supplies, as payday isn't until Friday. Only a few days into the summer hols and everything is gone already!!

Sooo annoying - it's £7 over!!!! They charged me over 100 interest this month but next months is estimated at 95 ish so what's that all about - it can't drop £5 in 1 month based on the amount I pay. Must be something to do with how the allocate payments maybe.

Either way the good news is that next month I will be under 7k.

    Off to check my others.

That IS really annoying but at least it will be under next month.
I suspect even the people at the bank don't understand how payments are allocated so what chance have we?
Hope lunch is nice whatever you do xx

    Thanks HL.

Good news is my loan is now under 4k :D

So this starts with a 3 now and hopefully next month the Virgin CC will start with a 6 and my Cap1 CC will also start with a 3 but I don't think the latter is an option.

Last night was great as I made a very OS tea and it didn't cost me a penny. Lo chicken and pasta with HM rosemary and sun dried tomatoe bread. I also made a weetabix cake which I haven't heard of but seemed nice. Only thing was I didn't leave it in long enough so when I cut into it it was soggy in the middle still :( does anyone know if I can put this back in the over some 24 hours later?

    Thanks!

Lol - I suppose I have nothing to lose as I'd make sure it was eaten either way!

I have asked on the OS board too so hopefully someone may have done it before.

I finished hovel last night and what a lovely read it was. I will be going back to it. The only chapter that bamboozled me was that on batteries and such like that Alan helped her with - way over my head!

Fabulous and highly recommended for someone in our positions who have dreams of moving to the country/hills

    xx

Really pleased you enjoyed "Hovel". I don't understand the batteries stuff either. Am hoping my OH will for the move to our hovel :rotfl:
