Petrol is ridiculous Hovel Lady - you're right - prices are only going 1 way - we were talking the other day and saying we can't see them going back down to what they were ie less than £1 litre. All we can do is budget for it and use the car for essentials only. Our supermarket's only a mile away but I can't carry all the shopping back on foot so drive. Catch 22.

Thanks for the winter lettuce tips skint, will have a nosy at prices of seeds. I do packed lunches for 4 (1 is DS who is 1) and me and DH have lettuce frequenctly but again, it depends on the cost as to whether I buy it or if we have plain sarnies instead lol

  • I went to wilkinsons at lunchtime.

I know these are late bus should be good window growers and a good activity for first week of school holidays and they are growing kits for broccoli, tomatoes and courgettes. 98p each. If we get them planted we should see something from the warm autumn windowsills at least!
    Trying to shift that debt!

For 98p each you have a bargain!

Let me know how they grow!

    £3 sent to Virgin.

They still haven't issued my statement, it's getting later every month! SO I can't do anything until Monday now.

Good news - these extra payments have tipped my DFD for this credit card to one month sooner!

    Exactly :D

Currently I pay them around £100 a month interest so every penny I pay to them now is knocking off the interest they can charge me.

I can't wait until I am free of this biggy one. Once I get shot of that one then the others will drop like flies.
