Ok I didn't go for the butty even though I had my purse out of my bag ready to have it. I had a yoghurt from my packed lunch instead. I am so proud again!

Therefore 92p sent to Virgin that I would have spent on that butty!

I'd love to own a farm shop joined onto my country escape and sell home grown and home made produce. My hubby can do the meat side, he does that now working for someone else......hurry up Debt Free Date!

Yesteray wasn't a NSD :( I spent £10 in Tesco on cards and leaving chocolates for the teachers in school. I wasn't going to get anything but they have done a fab job so got 2 for £5. Annoyed with myself for not being more organised with the cards as could have got them cheaper elsewhere. A big key to becoming debt free is the planning! I am getting there, slowly!!!!

My daughter asked me last night when we'd be moving to the "farm" as she'd decided what animals we are getting! She also said we weren't allowed to sell the cows for meat - she thinks you pay for meat with a cow - she doesn't realise the cow is the meat LOL. She's only 4 bless her.

Hubby and i spoke more about the day dream last night but as it's so far off it's hard to believe it could happen.

    Today is a NSD :)

Hello, dropping in as promised. I did look for your diary but the change of name foxed me a bit :)
    A NSD that's great.
Hope they've sorted out the temperature at work for you.

Your dream will happen -believe it, imagine it, plan it xx

    Morning diary

Well the weekend was a wash out. We went away for the night, rare treat now a days - and had lovely plans of things to do, all of which were scrapped because the rain was painfully bouncing and you couldn't see you hand in front of your face for fog!

I don't feel like I have had a weekend and back to work today :( there's no one in the office except for 2 external people who are very young, very well dressed and very enthusiastic! I wonder if they are in their designer clothes because their credit card allowed?

Went to Te$co just before closing yesterday and there were no yellow stickers - only a cake that was reduced and still over £5!!!! They are cottoning on to people waiting for the reduced items and they aren't lowering them as much - would prefer to bin them instead!!! Robbing bar stewards.

Anyway - on a good note! DH is on board for the move to the country! As older readers will know, I am dealing with my debt on my own and (please don't judge) no one else knows about it. Therefore it is taking longet than it should to pay it off as I have to carry on as normal too. It is good that DH accepts my frugal ways and too thinks we should be economising - it's just I my reason for starting was to clear debts - once they are cleared (feels like never sometimes) I will continue my frugal ways ( I have SO much to learn yet anyway) and will be planning and saving for the place in the country AKA the hevel in the hills ;)

Apx 3 years away until I am debt free - I am not comitting to more than that :) I did that before and messed up big time, hence the user name and the diary name is all wrong! I will start a new diary on the 1 year anniversary in Jan 2012.

Off to check accounts and update everything.

    xx

Our Te$so is pretty good at reducing stuff and the staff don't seem to mind if you hang round while they do it which is great.
Wet and windy all weekend here too. Have planned to get out in the garden but too wet.
Sorry your night away was a wash out. We've been trying to work out how we can have a couple of days away somewhere. I think the last time we were away was in 2004 or 2005.
I want to see the sea!
    Sorry, am hijacking your diary.
Glad you're also planning a "Hovel in the hills".
    xx

We have three Tesco's within about 5 miles of each other and they seem to take it in turns to do the big reductions, its just silly. They have such a monopoly in this little corner of Cornwall its ridiculous.

Great news that DH is on board for the move! A DFD only 3 years away is so much closer than it seems :)

3 years will be gone before you know it. Plus it's plenty of time to practice all those good frugal habits that will see you saving for your hovel once you are DF :)
