    Aww thanks guys :)

They blooming well haven't generated it yet!!!! They have a few days either side of the date they gave me but it's ALWAYS been before pay day which is 25th. So if I don't have it tomorrow it's on the phone to them which I dread!!!! Next phone call I would like to make to them is to close the account!

So deflated really but I have my petrol challenge and also not to use tumble dryer for the month too except for towels. This will keep me out of mischief.

New spending diary today for the new payment month. Starting in earnest.

So far I haven't spent anything from new wage but 56p from penny jar for a yoghurt this morning as I haven't been shopping yet due to being paid only today. We have nothing in the house, well that's not true. But we didn't have yogs for my packed lunch and was cheaper than butty!

Ok I refrained from the crisps I wanted to buy from the trolley service that comes round. I am getting there, need to wean myself off little treats. I moved from shoppoing spree treats to little treats which saved me money and now I need to wean myself off that and maybe have a once a month treat for a few quid. God knows what that could be. :)

So day one of the new month for me and so far

    NSD
    Car mileage within allowance.
    No tumble dryer used.
Ate packed lunch, didn't buy extras.

Tonight I am shopping for the new menu plan which I will post soon, not today as it's at home on home PC.

I have £100 for the moonth for the 4 of us. Includes nappies when we need them and loo rolls. I hope I have enough washing powder to see me through to next month but I need the stuff for DH overalls as the harsher the better for them.

I would like to spend £7.50 a week on the following week's fresh stuff. There are 5 weeks til next pay day OMG.....this isn't gonna work....ok hang on lol.

w/c 25/7, 1/8, 8/8, 15/8, 22/8 until next pay day. 22/8 I am off work so can make eggs and toast so not inlcuding that eyt.

    Remaining 4 weeks of packed lunchs 4*7.50 = 30.

£70 left for main meals and essential househol items. Sounds alot but soon goes.

£17.50 a week LOL. Although I won't be spending it like this as I will get the non perishables all in one go.

Bread is prooving to be costly. I make my own but it goes stale so much quicker than the shop stuff and I know why - but it doesn't help the fact I like soft sliced bread, regardless of what's making it soft :)

Might be worth posting on the OS board about making £100 last a month.
Looking good with everything else xx

    Morning all :)

Early start for me on a Tuesday now due to new hours. Manager's getting a bit control happy so I am doing everything completely by the book and that alone. ie no working from home.

I took my £100 out last night and bought £52.05p worth. Sounds like alot but I aim to not go shopping until the weekend and then only for fruit, veg and yoghurts - all a small amount of each. Included in this shop was

    3 * 4 pints milk (last 1 week?)
3 kilo pasta (no idea how long this will last but obv more than 1 month)
    Value Juice (1 week)
Raspberry Jam * 3 (more than 1 month, a jar to winter box)
    Fruit cocktail * 2 (last 2 weeks?)
    Chocolate Spread (all month)
Jar of Honey * 2 (all month)
Pack of raisins 500g * 3 (won't last all month but they aren't getting more!)
2 kilo sugar (all month plus more? depends on baking)
    frozen peas (2 weeks)
value fromage frais 12 (all week)
value mousse 8 ( more than a week)
value spread 1 kilo (all month)
    value yoghurt 8 (all week)
    wheat biscuits - 48 pack * 2 (2/3 weeks?)
    hot oats 750g (all month?)
    washing up liquid (all month)
value boubons *2 pack (all month)
value squash * 2 (all month)
    lettuce iceberg (week)
    value cheese (2 weeks?)
    evaporated milk * 2 (2 weeks?)
    garlic puree (all month)
    UHT milk (winter box)
    tuna * 4 tins (2 weeks)
    veg soup * 2 (2 weeks)
    bananas * 8 (week)
    wipes * 4 packs (2 weeks?)
    cottage cheese (all week)
    table salt (winter box)
    D/W tabs (all month)
teething gel * 2 (all month?)
    2 red onions (all week)
    2 loaves white (week)
    malt loaf (week)
    10 mini pittas (2 weeks)
    4 baby soap (months)
    value tomatoes (week)

I have my meals planned and so I am going to take the plunge and post on the OS board at some point in the next day or so. I really have nothing spare this month so it has to stretch.

Off to see how everyone is doing.

    xx
