Hi All
I haven't been on for a few days as my son caught chicken pox, he's only 9 months and has had a bad infection in eyes and nose too so had 2 poorly kids!
Both on the mend now so back to work today.
Thanks to everyone who posted to say congrats etc - much appreciated
It still hasn't sunk in that I don't have an OD now! It won't save me much in charges now as I sorted that out before - I used to use my reserve on top of overdraft which charges £22 every 5 days and I couldn't get out of it - owed more in charges than in £1500 OD! So as soon as wages went in I went to bank (this is a year ago this month actually) and told them to close the reserve whilst still in credit and they said but your payments will bounce - i reminded them that their fee for payments bouncing would be a lot less than reserve total. It went from there - contacting people to say will pay etc and managing to follow through with payments then reduced OD from 1k to 500 which it is now so may ask for it to be reduced again to £100.
I think that's my best way forward now, or should I ask for it to be taken off me? No temptation then.

I think so too. In fact it was confirmed last night when I was feeling sorry for myself (DH has gone away today and I miss him! Sad I know!) and I thought sod it - I'm gonna blow half my OD on cheering myself up - which incidentally I don't need to do as after sleeping on it I am fine!
So I know that if I was out I may have spent into OD as the 500 mark is too much for me to have at the moment therefore I think I am going to reduce it to £100 max.
Will ring them this morning and sort that out or pop into the branch if i get chance.
Off to check accounts

Wow it's been a while!
Can tell the sun's out as I have not been on here much lol. Not spending whilst enjoying sun in garden though!
Just applied for BCard Platinum as is 20 mnth at 0% and a thread on here was that a girl got one earning 16k with a lot of debt etc etc and she was accepted. anyway - i wasn't lol!
So I have decided never to apply again. It makes me feel too sick - the whole process.
Off to see what I can pay to debt today.

Right i've paid £4.06 to Next instead of EVIL CAP1 as they will be gone first. 6 and 2 3's really as doesn't change the overall end date but have the taste for it now cleared OD and have positive cash flow for once.
The Barclays account where I had the OD has 23p sitting in it which I will leave for now as each month a small amount will accrue there and when it reaches £1 I will pay it off debt - LOL - as if i am thinking like that. I will not be using the OD again.
I use my Lloyds account now which has no OD facility. I transfer my wages (bar loan payment) over to Lloyds every month. The loan payment comes from Barclays to Barclays so I have just left that as it is.
I have multiple saving accounts in Lloyds where i transfer the money for the month to so I don't touch it and whatever's left at the end of the month I will be overpaying to debt.
I am so impatient it's unreal - I think that's why I keep making "improvements" so I feel like achieving something!
