Hi there - thank you!
Onwards and upwards! I am so determined you're rightI want my financial freedom - I hate being governed by what I owe - lived life for too many years like that!
I have changed my sig as wanted everything on there so can see it all in one place. I have my interest and amount paid totals in my spreadsheet still and will post them each month after pay day.
Feels like a Friday today!

Well no statement here yet - it's due today too. Will check tomorrow and if it's not in will ring them to complain. Grrr - I can't wait to not have to do this every month!!!!!
As some of you will know I promised DH some cash towards a sofa from bonus so last night agreed £400. These are my plans for the bonus.
£1749 reduces to 1200 for agr sake after tax/ni etc etc. My pension will take more this month too as % of what paid etc. So working from £1200.
£500 to day OD off.
£400 to sofa.
£300 to me
I have never had money in the bank for such a long time that i am going to just keep it there for a little while so get used to not living in OD and paying debt with debt. It will be mind set change again so not rushing out to spend it even though I want to treat myself!
Although, I must confess, I will buy a new mascara this weekend.I intend to account for every penny of it.
I'm not going to dive into paying debt off with it either, not saying that won't happen, just not immediately. I am paying alot off next month and most months after that.
I have Mother's Day treat with a friend and we're going out to lunch so will need few pennies for that. She's sleeping over the night before as hubby's away so will need bottle of wine and probs a take away therefore that will be expensive (by my standards) weekend. Will budget for that.
I would like something for my holidays but since I have not shopped for myself for an age I don't know where to start so I need to plan that too!
Hope everyone's doing well! I can't wait for my OD to be paid off!!!!! 2 more sleeps!
