I have noticed that Real Lancashire Eccles cakes are on sale at Asda.co.uk for £1.37 but NOT listed on mysupermarket.com

Why is this? I am aware of Asda's currently advertised promise to save at least 10% against Tesco on a shopping basket ordered through mysupermarket.com

Tesco sells this product for £1.20 (17p less than Asda) - is this the reason the item is not listed on mysupermarket and, if so, how many other products have been left off the list because Tesco is cheaper?
Are you suggesting that ASDA is telling mysupermarket what to put on its website? I don't know how it works, whether data is "pulled" or "pushed" - in this instance the product appears under Tesco and Ocado but not ASDA or Sainsbury's

If say lurpark normal 500g is bogof at morrions at £2, making them £1 each for example and I go into asda not knowing this and buy one lurpack identical at £2 will this purchase recieve £1 back or not as i have not bought 2 of the products. Cos if not I'd have to buy 2 of everything in asda to be on the safe side.
They're not £1 each, the first one is £2 and the second one is free.
Buy one lurpack at asda and it will compare it: £2 Asda vs £2 Mor
Buy two lurpacks at asda and it will compare it: £4 asda vs £2 Mor

Like the op said, eccles cakes are a regional product - they are listed on mysupemarket for me (in the north west not far from eccles!)
mysupermarket claim on all their adverts to be independent. if they were having their strings pulled by asda, then im fairly sure tesco would be making a massive song and dance about that by now!

Asda adverts promoting price competition against other supermarkets must be changed, the advertising watchdog has ruled.

That's because ASDA now promises to be 10% cheaper so the ASDA price is inflated before the comparison is made. So if you spent £27, the ASDA price used for comparison would be £30, a difference of £3 (about right in your case).

I've been trying to use the price guarantee page for over a month now, every time I put in all my receipt details and email etc, then every time a mess pops up saying they are having a temporary problem! I have emailed to ask why this keeps happening and got a reply saying that they were sorry and the problem was now sorted. So I tried again and surprise surprise not working! I have never managed to get a comparison. I have tried seven different, long reciepts.
Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me???:(

I've had this problem when trying to complete the form at the weekend but apart from that, had no problems during other times.
