I bought my wedding shoes from Dune. They were £40 instead of £80 so I am very happy. They were exactly what I wanted and I had already tried them on and was considering buying them at full price.

They are these ones in ivory : http://www.dune.co.uk/vanilla-strappy-diamante-sandals-prodvanilla00multi/

    Hi everyone

You can add me in for 2nd June :)

Haven't done anything yet apart from booking the church and evening function room.

Has anyone got a thorough checklist I could use (don't know where to start!), or any recommendations on any website planners or checklists?

    21st June 2012 for me.

Afer several months dithering about where to hold a do, on a tight budget the last few days have been interesting. Only tight budget because we dont want to throw money away and go into debt just for one day, when there is no need to be.

We've decided to hold the wedding do after the ceremony in my (our) garden. it's a small garden, which mean i will be shortning the list to just a small gathering which we both feel is better.

Saving a few hundred on paying for a venue.

My parents live in France (UK nationals), they are coming to the wedding, (my last wedding it was a no no as we fell out)

Decided we need no more than 6 (or less) bistro tables. Begged and borrowed from friends, doesnt matter that they match, i'm not like that, they will be covered in cloth anyway.

I moved into my bungalow a year ago, so garden is still being created, shed is plonked right outside the kitchen window, which OH is in the process of building a frame to sit it on (it's being moved to the bottom of the Garden, this will leave a ready made patio.

The side fencing has been painted red cedar, but i have loved the thought of a painted shed, in the theme of beach huts... So have paint will wait for nice weather.

OH and DS made me a zen garden which i promptly placed my herb pots etc on, photo.php?fbid=10150213239836874&set=a.62049951873.88392.624246873&type=1&theater

these pots can be moved to bottom of garden, a table and gazebo can go there.

First piccy (ignore dad looking through childrens spy glass thing)
the side fencing is now cedar red, the mud banks will be raised beds.
Bottom of garden is where all the pots can go from this next piccy.

Oh and this is George, he'll be at the wedding too.

This is where i can put a table, my picnic bench if nessecary with a cheap gazebo.

And the next piccy is just to show you where the shed is currently

That will be turned so the door will be facing this way, but moved down the garden. (oh and painted pale blue and cream)

I think with some fairy lights some ribbons and balloons my friends will have a whale of a time decorating the garden.

Any thoughts ladies that i can do or not do.

Bear in mind i have M.S. another reason for having the do at home is i can go and lie down on the sofa or bed for a bit if it gets to tireing.

Welcome Sjay and Mup! Mup your idea sounds great to me and sensible too. Can't see your pics but don't know if it's because I'm at work at the mo :(
