Hi Pern
I'm not sure about our vows, to be honest we're not really that far along in the planning. Tbh though I think if we write our own I'll cry so much I won't be able to speak! So might be best for us if we use what we're given then give each other little cards with what we would have said, not sure
I am just trying to do things I can - I haven't got my dress yet but as I want a bit of colour on it I can't really pick flowers etc until I find the dress...need to crack on with that really but it's trying to find time when not only am I free but someone to go with me!
I'm afraid of crying tooBut I really want to make our ceremony more personalised, I just hope I don't mess it up! I think I will try & keep it fairly short & sweet.

It seems you've all been super busy and super organised with the help of becca's spreadsheet!
I finally got my invitation sample from my friend and it's perfect! After several emails, photo-editing sessions and talks with the OH it's been perfected! I can't wait until December when they all arrive so I can send them out!
Other than that, I haven't really done much. Have emailed a few hair and make up people to ask about prices.
The MIL2B was on the phone to the OH last night and insists on paying for the hire of a new wedding suit for the OH and wants to contribute some money towards my hair and make up (tho I'll still feel guilty if I don't find one which is very MS!)
I really should be tidying the house atm, but I'm doing all I can to be distracted!
I really hope I can squeeze professional make up into our budget, I know it's not particularly MSE but it will help me feel more confident I think, knowing my face is the best it can be!! :rotfl: Need to look around more, I've only really seen quotes for £100+ just for make up!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Thanks Becca, I will be showing it off when I find it! Going to that outlet in Leicester at the end of the month to hopefully find the bargain of my dreams :rotfl::idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Thank you, I did think £100+ was a bit steep! Granted I haven't looked at that much yet, just whatever I saw at wedding fairs.
Thank you soooooo much for the spreadsheet by the way, it's more useful than I could ever have imagined!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Hope everyone is ok and plans are coming along well : )
Today has been a successful day! Had the day off work and went wedding dress shopping with my mum and one of my BMs. We had some time after the first shop so popped into debenhams and managed to get the bridesmaid dresses, which was a bit unexpected as we weren't even looking for them! They had 20% so were only £68 each. Hopefully my other two bridesmaid will like them and they fit ok. These are the ones http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_017010591587_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7EDesigners%7EWomen%7EDresses
Found my dress in the second shop we went in, my Mum cried when i came out in it : ) not very money saving but does come with a veil and saved £100 as the prices are going up on Friday x0 -
