well positive thoughts are needed here hehe, fortunately mum and dad would have arrived from France by then and will be able to help me out with a bit of running around and the bridesmaids helping too..

but it shouldn't have to be like that.

Agreed, that is sh**. I know it won't help now but after the wedding I'd consider putting in a big complaint for all the extra stress this caused you at an already stressful time.
Safe trip for Mum and Dad

forgot to say another day to stay in, hire car coming, on the way to the hen weekend i got shunted up the rear (now now girls).

my car has a problem now with the boot closing and the sensor not recognising it, bit of a mess and so finally taken a good week i get a hire car and my car goes to the garage tomorrow, so 2 days i have to stay in, but also suits could arrive too.

But us girls were fine, no one was hurt, just shook up a bit.

Aw Mupette that's seriously crap of them. Definitely a strongly worded letter after the wedding!

I have two guests "grrr"s - My cousins kids were invited to the evening do only (ages 20, 18 and 14) as I don't really know them and didn't want to open up the "please bring your kids to the dinner" thing. So I got the reply yesterday (13 days late!!) saying the 2 girls would love to come however the boy (20) AND HIS GIRLFRIEND! unfortunately cant make it.....um....good, she wasn't invited. I've met her once 2 years ago and she didn't talk. Wise up!
My second grr is more of a cringe really. There's a girl in my office I don't especially like. We're polite but she had been away for 4 months and came back last week.....I hadn't invited her and one of the other girls in the office apparently sent an email around for people to chip in to a pressie and sent it to her assuming she was coming :s Now I have to either man up and say something to her or pretend like I don't know and let the awkwardness brew! She's just such a miserable person, always complaining and I really can't be doing with that on the most normal of days never mind my wedding day!

    Am I a bad person??

no you are not a bad person, i would say something if the assumption is that she is invited, we just need to think of a polite way of saying it.

oh sorry you were away for x amount of time i didn't think you would be well enough (assuming it was sickness)

oh sorry you being away and all, no spaces left, but if anyone drops out you take first dibs (although you can never say in work if anyone has)

or it could be a good time to get to know her out of work?
