I think I've just come upon a new level of wedding obsession. i dreamt, not about our wedding, but this thread! thank goodness the wedding is in a week lol

We haven't got around to changing much yet Becca, keep getting the feeling we're doing it wrong, lol.

Only changed car documents so far, will tackle bank after honeymoon (we go next week :j )

Well... in 1 week, we'll be married.

I had my hair trial this morning - loved it!!
Makeup - my friend is doing foundation etc for me... so trying not to worry about that!

We're getting there, slowly but surely.

We've had a pretty relaxed day so far, though it feels like we should be doing an awful lot more!

Hi ladies, hope you dont mind me joining you for a little while. I started my own thread (mse wedding - only 4 days to plan), not realising this thread existed! I really should open my eyes.

A little background... getting married on Thursday 21st June at the local registry office and then back to our house for a garden party. Im pregnant with twins so its a very low-cost wedding and we're doing everything ourselves.

I think we are nearly there, just got to:

Make the cake on Monday (I make cakes occasionally anyway so just going to do my own)

Buy shoes, going tomorrow

Buy some make-up. Dont usually wear it & SIL is doing my makeup on the day (she used to work on the Lancome counter at Macy's in NY

Find a nice pashmina or shawl

Buy tablecloths and either buy or make an extra long table runner as we are having all tables together end to end

Buy flowers for the tables. We are having lots of jars with candles and flowers in along the centre of the tables.

Possibly make buttonholes. Going to google it now and see how difficult/easy it is

Reading all that I dont think I have enough days left! Hope everyone is getting on ok and good luck to the next brides :T

same days as me, and a do in our back garden too.

check the weather report, actually i think we are all doing that on an a hourly basis, at one point there was 2 hours rain due Thurday.
