Tell us what flashing of headlights mean and it's not hello.

Off course its hello, if someone is in front of me I flash my lights to say hello and to make their acquaintance and then I ask to pass.

Your speedo is allowed an error of up to +10%.

    If you say so.

I take it you will be representing him on appeal then.
  • Speed cameras cannot significantly reduce road accidents.

The D of T 2007 data on Contributory factors to Accidents, Reference 7, Table 4b: Contributory factors by severity, shows that “exceeding the speed limit”, which is all that speed cameras can determine and enforce, accounted for less than 3.5% of the contributory factors for fatal and serious accidents.
Even if speed cameras where totally effective at preventing speeding, which they are Not !

you think a cop would jeopardise his job and career to catch a guy who isn't speeding when someone will be along in a couple of minutes who is???

And if you had a shot and the driver was speeding, I doubt he could be prosecuted since the cops didn't catch him....you did.

If you say so. But the magistrates wouldn't like everyone done for the same speed.

Years ago they were suspect when people were done at exactly 50.
  • the cheeky !!!!!! wanted to look at my tires aswell but i said he couldnt unless he lets me have a go on the laser gun he said that was fair. i was the 22nd person he had caught speeding and the only one that admitted they were speeding so he was in a good mood
  • Mind you that table was prepared before using the mobile at the wheel became an epidemic , that together with texting , inputting the sat nav and updating the facebook page probably now take top slot
