well done you, just clocking in myself with £65 made up of Lloyds Vantage account interest, Halifax £5 reward and some daily click money from Fatcheese. Another £50 still to come from Topcashback for some car insurance, tomorrow hopefully. £300 gets automatically transferred into First Direct regular savings account on the 10th of the month too. For now though, £865/£4000

Well done to everyone on saving what you have. Any amount large or small is a good thing.

After a bit of a savings drought I managed to stash away £180 into the account this morning.

Balance now is £1,000.83/£2500 on track so far to make the total towards the end of the year.
    MARCH £62.38/250

morning, another £50 into the pot, would be more but it took £30 for petrol to get DD to hospital and there will be another £30 today to bring her home. What happened to free access to NHS. lol

I'm going to have to lower my target to £3000 i think, grrr. Car expenses and a holiday mean I won't be able to save as much between now and August. Plus i'm off to Royal Ascot next month and need a new dress and betting money, so £3k by end of Aug now. Still doable I hope.

Go for it Linz, we have to have some pleasure, this life is short and hard at best. If all we did was save we'd be a nation of scrooges. I have had another very expensive month, and even had to lend DD cash for her MOT and repair, so unless I rob a bank or sell a child or two, I may have to lower my target too. Keep going, tho, If this thread wasnt here I'd have saved a lot less than I have donexxx

Back again, 400 into savings today, just got to keep focused, without becoming obsessed.
