Indeed Nic - we can be complete opposites in lots of things but then so alike in others.

KC, good advice I hadnt thought of it like that. It answers my question exactly - so from now on when I am thinking of something that I want to happen I will put blinkers on and think only of my own positivity reaching the source. As for asking the universe for a demonstration of positivity I like that idea.
Would you believe that when we got together my friends say he became a different person. Full of fun and positive energy. But then he had (for a short while) cut the apron strings. I do think that with his Mum being ill he feels guilty all the time that he is not there to help out. This is only because he is made to feel that way in very subtle controlling ways. I can see what is happening and have tried to steer him away from the guilty feelings by rationalising things but his Dad is a very bad and strong influence and I see no way of removing that force for the time being. I just have to learn ways of dealing with it all.

When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other. ~Chinese Proverb

  • Love the proverb :).

I have a solution for Mr C. Don't tell him what is going on, give him something "fake" to think about then he can't affect your universe - simples :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

believe me I will try that one. Hmmm would you have tried that yourself I wonder.

I love the proverb too. Was how I felt today when I went to the supermarket for bread (my homemade loaf was a disaster :(). I thought should I have toilet rolls or a bunch of flowers. Unfortunately the toilet rolls won.

You can make paper roses out of toilet rolls cheri :j :j :j

And your loaf wasn't a disaster - it was Artisan Bread. People pay good money for that kind of thing, and in some parts of the world it's considered a delicacy. Perhaps it was Argentinian Flat Bread? Or Russian Dense Loaf?

Two of my own personal specialities :D :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: love it. It was most definitely dense. Not quite sure what I did wrong but not my best effort.
